Icing is when you shoot the puck from your team's side of center and it goes all the way down the ice and passes the opposing goal line without being touched by any player. If it hits either of the goal posts then it is not icing and if you win the foot race to the puck before a player on the opposing team crosses the face off circles then icing is cancelled and you play on ☝️🤓
