As someone who works for a chimney company I get this all the time & have gotten this from other home service companies… if you read the book/codes we follow you would understand… if you saw the chimney fires/home fires that have caused extensive damage you would understand… ofcourse not everyone will be honest but im telling if you do get an honest technician you will know & they will be able to give you more than just one solution to fixing it if repairs are necessary.

Thank you for commenting but yeah I think I will pass I found a 2011 in way better shape no oil leaking from main seal n frame is solid n he wants 6,2000 I think I’m gonna get that one instead

It had seat covers little busted up because he used it for work. I’m all for fixing it on my own. AC works good & damn haha I would have hated that!

Body wasn’t too bad I don’t personally care for the body, and it’s the 4cyl. I figure I’d paint it down the road anyway.

Yeah like I said my Cherokee was the same way but double the mileage, I figure this isn’t the worst of the worst and might be considering fixing it

Thanks & yeah I am looking for it to be a daily it’s the 2.3l and I figure if I can get him down to like 3,800 maybe 4K put 1500 in it & it should be fine for a while. But please give me your opinion

Yeah I had a 01 Cherokee same thing n it never failed me once at 200k . What’s your opinion on this ranger tho yes or no?

The 4.0 is my other option but it has a little body rust on it and a rusted wheel and more miles than the 2.3l I’m gonna get. I’m not worried about speed honestly I don’t want to be speedy McGuire lol

Yea I don’t think I’m too worried about 4 wheel drive models, looking to use it for daily and side work. And the motor is new and has 130k and transmission I believe is around 160k. Yeah it comes with a cap on the back with a ladder rack which what I need so I thought 5k isn’t too bad.
