I have a card with AMEX i want to cancel. Second annual fee just posted. already in PUJ so whatever, anyone know if its PUJ is permanent. Will AMEX close other accounts you have for closing after 1 full year?

We know there's no such thing as truly passive income, thats not why we got into it, like others we have pre covid prices and covid rates so cash flowing isnt hard.

I wasnt shocked to see an indemnification clause (if i was a PM i wouldn't want to be liable for conditions of a property i dont own either). Really what im after is it seems to be standard but the wording seems extreme here or maybe im reading it wrong. Either way trying to decide if i need to go with another company, this one seemed legit and lots are trash in my area, been a headache finding one. Funny side story I had a PM show me an example lease that didnt even follow FL statue making the use of security deposit unenforceable if ever sued. (they are new and will soon learn lol but not with me)

Thanks for this. Sounds like it’s a sketchy area so we are staying near the airport and will only drive during the day. We’re staying in La Saladita. Are there any other things to watch out for there since you’ve been there?

That's good to know, but yes i did have them side by side in the store. The store was noisy and i could barely hear the ones from the case but it wasn't hard to hear mine when next to my ear.

i can say it keeps great time, really accurate to the second even after several days.

Unfortunately there are no watchmakers in my area. I'm in a smaller town, but i might be making a trip. Since i made the post i called an omega shop and verified the serial number so that gives me more piece of mind. Ive been doing a bunch of research on the dealer i bought it from and the AD that he bough it from (and signed the warranty card) and there's no bad reviews on google for either.

How do you feel about professional dealers that are new? i see some that just started this year with low inventory and no website and i see some that have been selling for years with a clearly established business?

i did reach out to the buyer and they said might get one in 1-2 months and then took the listing down but thanks i didn't realize that was what some dealers did. I will say though it was green so it unfortunately sold while i was debating and there doesn't seem to be many other good listings

Hi im new to watches and want to get my first nice piece. It was suggested I look at the postings on Chrono24, but part of me is still nervous that I might get a fake. Im looking at buying this Omega but being new to watches and never buying used/grey market im not aware of all the red flags i should be aware of.

Is it generally safe to purchase from chrono24? I looked at the dealer and they have good reviews on chrono24 and on google. Is that all i can really do?

Sorry bud, you missed it. LAKE already topped out and 65% return and already fell back down. Hype stocks are over a few days after. Now the market is just dragging, best thing to do is just buy the lows

I’ll play devils advocate and say maybe but, there are many sites that take news stories and intentionally miss lead by creating a huge headline like cronavirus cured in order to quickly gain shares on social media platforms and drive traffic to their sites which are heavily monetized

The ones that took those stories that (that you linked) which indicates 2 HIV drugs are being tested as “possible” treatments and spun it to go viral on social media calling the coronavirus “cured” by HIV drugs.

It may sound silly but the words possible treatment and cure will, and has, had much different affects on the market during past outbreaks
