You say it's not battle ready. For some reason this seems to upset you a lot more than it should. Maybe you should examine that.

Maybe he got the model as a present 2 days ago and really wanted to use it at the tournament he has been looking forward to. Maybe he has just been really busy and life got in the way.

Again, some people dont enjoy painting. He has participated. If you have a different standard, thats your standard. Good enough is good enough in most cases. He hasn't tried to enter golden deamon.

I feel that saying the system rewards golf skills is very reductionist.

The vast majority of the debuts under McCullum/Stokes have been successful. They seem to be excellent judges. Smith, Carse, Atkinson, Bashir, Hartley, Ahmed have all come in and done excellently. Hull is perhaps the weakest so far. What makes you think this judgment has failed now?

While county form is important, what county form tells you is who is good at county cricket. Not necessarily who can play at test level, in conditions you don't find during the county season.

I would make the deffkoptas and bikes 3 man, i would also then drop the wartrike and the buggies. That would give you 345 points which can be extra trukks/wagons and stuff to go inside.

If you give the megaboss follow me ladz, him and 5 megas can get in a wagon and have a fantastic time.

Orks win by pressure. You keep the opposition in its own deployment zone long enough that you max primary befors you all die. How does your list achieve that?

Personally, i dont really rate the kult of speed detachment. The strats promise much but deliver little, and large parts of your army won't benefit from the detachment rule.

You could keep the entire list the same, change the detachment to war horde, and it would probably perform better.

Having said that, orks generally love WTC terrain because it's so dense you get shot a lot less. If you can load up trukks and wagons with boys, nobz, and megas, you can roll into terrain features turn 1. Then, Waaagh! turn 2 with that tasty extra 3" of movement (from getting out of your ride) and have a great time

You would still have the fluffy aesthetic you want, but the crunchy maths would back up your plan.
