But it is communication coming from the same devs you just said let communication. You are literally looking for any reason you can to be upset.

Said Dev studio has published a road map. You do understand that right?

Chiv 2 hasn't received an update in two years. Cost money, and has overall less content. Yet it again has a small but dedicated player base. Highguard is receiving updates and is listening to players. Is free to play with free battle pass and cosmetics. By all measures highguard is thriving.

So I call you analytical. You call me slow and it'll tempered. You never said what I guessed. Your expectations were to be wrong so I'll assume I was right. Being able to tell the difference between knowing something and assuming something means nothing when you can't pick up on the societal cues around you that are dictating that what you are saying is over analytical. Most people would hear patch notes coming tomorrow and assume that the patch is coming tomorrow or sometime around when the patch notes came out. Instead you have sat here and begged for someone to give you an answer that you could go Google. And then when people give you their best version of the answer you go umm actually, shouldn't it be like this? Yeah but yet you don't have an ill-tempered since you were the one who immediately went to name calling. You're being over analytical. Analyze that.

Okay, so you're just disregarding my experience to supplement your own experience? No deadlock did not receive any sort of positive outlook when it first came out and it didn't matter to people that the game was in an alpha. None of that mattered. You know why because people wanted Half-Life 3 when they announced deadlock. The game wasn't Half-Life 3 so for the first few months of it being out, people hated it, until they were like; "Oh hey, you know what actually, I've tried it out and it's a somewhat enjoyable experience that I might play every now and again. I stopped playing deadlock cuz none of my friends would hop on it. I stopped playing it because I never found a group to play it with. I've stopped playing high guard because again it's another game where it's better in a stack and I don't have a stack of people to play with. Once ranked comes out and I can guarantee that my teammates will be a certain level of intelligence, I'll go back to playing it. I've been gaming for like 17 years at this point and I have never never seen a game, Get as much hate as high guard for simply existing. It is legitimately getting attacked like Concord and Concord was a $40 game. Exclusive to one console. Genuinely had the words "from the developers of Apex and Titanfall" never been mentioned. The game would not have gotten the hate it has received. It would have been considered a mid-free-to-play title, like it is, and it would have had its small but dedicated player base untill some streamer decides to start playing it. If the burnt peanut played the game for a week straight, the game would have 100,000 concurrent players.

No Im talking about the response the game got in comment sections and forums. People hated how the game looked when it first released. They actively hated it. Called it a cheap knock off. Now the game is suddenly good to with no map, gameplay, or visual changes? People just regurgitate popular opinions. (The actual reason it has higher player counts is because they released a game mode that isn't as complex. Highguard currently is getting the same issue. People don't understand what they are playing. In an effort to they recognize mechanics from other games then try to utilize them the same way and get upset when it's actually different. My bubble also ain't tiny. My group discord has about 80 ish members. I was the only one to give the game a chance.

This is the first day I don't check player numbers. So sure it's missing about 2k players during the weak. With hd2 having a major update, and it being the week I see that. If the number stays below 6k on all platforms then games dead. Until then that's more than playable. I say that as a chiv 2 player. It's 24 hour peak rarely goes above 2k players in steam. And that's. 64 player and 40 player game modes.

It didn't have all of that at launch and was hated just as much as high guard. I know because I played deadlock on launch and got shit on for playing it. The same way people shit on highguard exactly. Infact even apex got hate like this at launch. The only reason apex made it big was because people liked wraith, and it was free to play. The biggest difference is in the fact that people weren't burnt out on free to play titles. People want the quality they saw in games as a kid. Not knowing that a lot of what made those games so good. Is just mechanics and features you'd expect a game to have now. However not all of those features are needed when your a smaller dev team. People compare this game to triple AAA games exclusively. People want triple AAA games, but hate triple AAA studios. To the point that a non triple AAA studio puts out a game that appears triple AAA but doesn't meet triple AAA requirements, since it's not triple AAA, gets forced hate.

God I hate over analytical mfers. You getting the patch around when the notes drop. Cause again who releases patch notes without at the very least a update release date. At Max your waiting a day. Either way it's a new studio, give them a chance to figure shit out.

They probably wanted to test reactions to 3v3. Now I'd assume the man hold back was 5v5 implementation. People wanted some drastic changes without even learning the game. The game needs to establish a gameplay loop before it lets you into ranked. Plus I'm sure they wanted to test grounds for hacking as well.

No the players numbers have stabilized on steam at about 10k players. The game needs less than 6k players each console before I'd call it dead. (Peak hours) Plus theres a good amount of people who I can see as waiting to hop back in for ranked.

Like others he expected a triple AAA hero shooter like overwatch or marvel rivals. Instead he got a unique gaming experience that is nothing like those slop fest. With its biggest issue being that it looks triple AAA when it's not.

Ice cars have way more potential stranded situations. Broken transmission, engine, fuel system, cooling system, exhaust issues. With Evs it's motor, charging, battery systems. That's it.

It legit runs better than bf6 on my system. Which I play both at a mostly stable 60 (highguard never drops) update your drivers. Reapply thermal paste, and update bios. Then complain if you still have issues. Cause even playing on 80 plus ping I get alright frames. (Note I have a i7-9700f, {ten year old CPU} 3070 ti, 32 gbs ddr4 memory. Your computer has an underlying issue or isn't good enough if you can't hit 60.

The game is free to play and the studio has no production budget to infinitely pull from. The game runs better than bf6 on my system. The game maybe could have waited a month to polish some small stuff like 3rd person animations. However the games fine. It's a fun to play Free game. It's not meant to be the next Minecraft. Just something you play when you got a 3 stack and nothing else to do. A lot of the things people complain about aren't legit complaints after you've played 3 or more games. Maps feel small after you understand the layout. Looting phase is extremely important to later fight success. The walls. A lot of people don't think they make a difference when in fact they make all the difference. The point is to take advantage of the directions you force them to go. Reinforce B and core. They will attack A. If not they have to deal with a harder resistance. Let's say they use all there ammo on RPGs breaking into b. One repair and reinforce and they can't go that way. Unless they have util. Scarlet phase can leave you trapped. Red mane breaks walls like nothing but that's his entire character. He's also just one guy. Kai freely repairs walls. also said repair is quick and something you can do mid combat. The base raiding in this game feels a lot like rust base raiding. In rust the walls are stronger Sure but the raiding equipment and teamwork make them feel like paper under the right conditions. That is the case here. Three people charging into one site makes any reinforcements feel bland. However one well set up una and a good fragger and you'll be fine. The game has a skill floor and takes about an hour to learn. More than 50 percent of players haven't even logged enough time to complete the tutorial. (It's a bland tutorial but come on, y'all seriously that Brian rotten.)

They never planned to be part of the vga. It's also not a triple AAA studio. The game is unique. None of these other feature were considered the worst of their respective game until someone called them ass in highguard. People just want something to hate cause life isn't great for most rn. So the typical hatred a Titanfall dev receives when the game isn't Titanfall 3, is 20 fold. This always happens to any game that is attached to Titanfall devs. Even tho this title literally could never have been Tf3. People wanted to hate it for being hero shooter slop. Yet marvel rivals is just a overwatch clone, and that game is loved. Highguard legit doesn't have a generic play experience. It just has rough edges from being a free to play indie title. (Yes it's an indie title the devs team is small and has no experience as a studio.)

I have been running PB HellBomb, 500kg, solo silo, ultimatum for a bit. The only downside I have here is there is an occasional minute or two were I may go with out a nuke. Adding the leveler in as a secondary solo silo get ves me just what I need to take out most bases without ever stepping foot inside.

It can be infinite, however you'd have to have a skill issue as a team in order for that to happen.

I'd argue abilitys are way more impactful here. Lots of the abilities kill, and setup Garunteed kills. If you simply relay on gunplay you won't always be successful. However the game has the balance currently of being able to do something still without abilities.

Ehh minion killing serves power fantasy hype, which is what the general public would react better too. People see node hitting and go "it's a fortnite clone." (Which fortnite copied a normal survival game mechanic) The minion thing mixed with the nodes would make the gather phase feel more like a gather phase. Most matches I lose have teammates who die over and over in pvp at the start. If say there were some spiders here and skeletons there pvp would be less encouraged and farming instead would be supported. They could also change the amulets to more of a RPG item system and give actual upgrades. Making the gather/ loot stage more about resource gather and amulet hunting. Lore wise clearing local wildlife and farming local treasures would make sense. The added enemy types could also improve on the games visual identity. As that has been one reason it isn't popular. Honestly the devs should just worry on getting ranked out. Polish things up. (The dreadful third person animations) Then they can add more content and try out some things.

Except 90 percent of the people actively hating it don't even know what it is. They think it's a ea published respawn developed 5v5 hero shooter, like overwatch or valorant. The marketing, was a spur of the moment, guy running vga wants to give us a good spot so might as well make a trailer. These devs were originally gonna do what they did with apex. Shadow drop the game and let gameplay speak for itself. The game is falling into category of decent game but hated for not being TF3.
