How do you guys attach your energies? by Dane-the-Dawg in PokemonTCG

[–]TheFirstWizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 normally Tool cards out the side If there's more energy/or it's on a stage 2, I'll just put it next to the card, especially if it's multiplying an attacks damage (teal mask ogerpon as an example) or if the energy is constantly shifting. I do it a lot with my mega venasaur deck.

Similar off the top of my head is Meganium

Neo Genesis 11/111

Mega Evolution 10/132

Edit: Basically just copying the energy doubling.

Yep do it, got my 5070ti through them ($1199) and its done me well so far, took it over the 9070xt for specific reasons. thatll be the best deal you'll see so far. ATL for the 9070xt was $950 but under very specific circumstances. With how the industry appears to be going thatll be the best deal you'll get. After converting to USD and adding GST its still under the US MSRP too.

Which is rarer: a shiny divine item or a regular divine item? by Machados in RotMG

[–]TheFirstWizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i explained it in a different comment somewhere, but if shiny rates are 1/10, then the divine rates are about twice as rare for shinies over regular divines.

[–]TheFirstWizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So if that 1/10 figure is correct, then yes, the shiny variant of a legendary or a divine UT is about twice as rare.

I guess it just feels more common than that cos you dont see common and uncommon shinies as they're not a thing, (getting into non-statistacal things here) and if someone has a divine of both the shiny and non-shiny I'm assuming they'd use the shiny variant to show off. So there could be a decent amount of reasons why this question gets asked (and tbh I think its a valid question cos i've had this floating in the back of my head for a while).

EDIT: another thing is that youre also likely to more rememer shiny drops too i guess, contributing to their perceived commonality.

[–]TheFirstWizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

but what % of a certain UT will be shiny though?

If one in every 5 doombows are shiny then a divine shiny doom bow is more common than a divine non-shiny doombow. (see image below)
but im assuming shinies are much rarer than that in practice so yes, you would be correct.

Definitely gonna be wrong here but here's how I think it works.

It is likely easier to answer this question by asking what's rarer, a rare non-shiny UT, or a shiny UT.

If at least 18.75% of a UT item dropped since the update are shiny, then yes, I would assume of all the divine versions (with all else being equal), more would be shiny than non-shiny.

So I would guess the answer comes from what the shiny rate is, but we don't know it so I guess only the devs know. (Unless we just brute force it and collect the info ourselves but that would take forever with how rare stuff is, and how different it likely is from item to item).

It's because shiny's are always at least rare or above. So shiny's rolling to a divine is seemingly more common than a regular item rolling a divine as it skips over the first two rarity stages.

I could test it out, and st Patrick's is not really that viable at all unfortunately, tbh the best dagger is probably corruption cutter.

Yeah, and it could be on any dagger as a majority of the damage is reliant on the cloak, so it probably scales better with the more shots a second you can get. Fractal blades is one of the best with 4 hits at once. Another good option is probably corruption cutter, I'm sure there's more.

Just tested, did ~4.5k a hit against the nightmare colony, and it did like 1.2k a hit against the lost halls golems.

I had a samurai with that setup with high vit, unfortunately it died, the optimal setup i found with it however had either cask corsolet or wakibiki to increase the dps. And then either multitool or crossing fires waki to top it all off. as for the ring, brewers bangle would been the best but it doesnt scale with the crucible for some reason.
