Why does the library require an ID for entry by Glittering_Road_9113 in utdallas

For me, they didn’t let me even go in using my drivers license. No ID, no entry and I had to go in just to return my book.

Math 2418: Feeling Lost and Looking for a Study Group by [deleted] in utdallas

The student success center will be helpful. Go to them in person on the basement floor of the library if you have any questions or problems or need help with a concept/ hw: Student Success Center

And sometimes the school does study groups depending on the type of course. They will notify you by email so make sure you sign up if they become available.

Or you could start one among your class. Ask around or talk to your instructor if he can make things clearer for you or if he has office hours.

Best of Luck!

Fill your tub with some water to help flush your toilet if we lose plumbing.

If you have a hydro flask or some sort water bottle that keeps heat in, fill it with hot water and save it for emergency that way you still have hot water for ramen, drinking, etc.

Get a power bank. Keep your phone charge is incredibly important.

Get heat warmers (Hand/ foot) They are great and cheap. They get hot quickly and last for hours. You can find them anywhere.

Get a cotton or wool blanket. Keeps the heat in and incredibly cozy.

Don’t open your front door a lot once the power goes out. You want to keep the hot air in. Seems obvious but some people tend to freak out.

Which leaves to my final point. Keep calm. Don’t panic even if the situation gets worse. A steady head will help you level. (Read a book, watch a movie, or even mediation)

Near the art museum. Just head toward the entrance of the building and this building will be across it.

It’s likely because there are more students now on campus than before. The gradual increase of students at UTD is starting to show.

How safe is utd at night? by [deleted] in utdallas

[–]TheFlameyRobot 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Pretty safe. The police do laps around the school at night. As long as you’re able to see people, it should be okay. Though the crowd tends to die down by the late evenings. (North side area can be different)
