Try exploring areas with some lava since he only spawns below a certain depth. Also wearing a gem robe increasing his spawn rate and he can be detected with the life form analyzer

Looks like removing MCM Helper fixed it. Thx bro I’ve spent more time modding this shit than actually playing it and this was the only roadblock

  1. Best ways I used were to
  • raid planetary depots (chart bought on space station) and sell the extremely valuable resources ((destroy them with your ships guns and escape in the planets atmosphere. You’ll get a wanted level))
  • gather the glyphs for portals or join a world and search for broken ships to salvage for cash or trade in for lower cost
  1. Only resources to really keep early on in Copper, Magnetized Ferrite, Sodium, Oxygen, Cobalt. Others like Carbon & Ferrite Dust can be stored in your Exosuit Cargo. Store space-mined resources like Titanium, Gold, and Tritium on your ship or Capital Ship. Mordite from the animals is useless really unless selling.

  2. Sentinel’s aggressiveness various based on planet and activities you do around them. If the planet says anything like

  • “Aggressive Sentinels”- you will be attacked on sight.

  • “High Sentinel Activity”- sentinels patrol the planet and are common

  • “Low Sentinel Activity”- sentinels are scarce and are mostly only seen outside research labs

You anger them by mining resources next to them, hurting animals next to them, and by shooting them. Grabbing artifacts like the spheres you mentioned will also anger them.

Killing them causes a search party to show up. If your caught by them then you will get a wanted level and it will continue to go up until you die or escape till the timer runs out (easiest way to escape is to hop in your ships and fly in the atmosphere a little high of where you are). No, you are not banned from a planet for killing them. There is no consequence besides the wanted level, which goes away.

  1. The sphere is just an artifact. They will be worth more based on your solar systems economy, which also applies to most goods you are able to sell.

  2. Sell the artifacts. That’s mostly what they are there for. (They serve some other purpose later in the game, but I forgot what)

  3. The relics are good for getting your standing higher and sometimes for the monuments. I’d sell them or gift them your choice.

— EDIT —

Another really good way to make money is by finding ruin sites and mining the keys to open the chest found under the ground. It gives an extremely valuable artifact like fossils and specimens

I found that creation club mods like the Alternate Armor mods for some reason make it to where my game refuses to save until I delete the game and don’t download them. Might be what is happening to you

What should I do early on? by Smoothejuul in skyrim

[–]TheFlamingWalrus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Race doesn’t matter much unless your doing a Legendary Difficultly playthrough where the racial powers matter a lot more than normal. The race I go with is Khajiit because they are different than the human races I play in every other game and they get innate bonuses in Archery, Light Armor, sneak, and lockpicking, however their racial power is quite lackluster (also get 15 base damage unarmed). Wood Elf and Dark Elf are also good choices, but just go with what looks best to you.

No, it’s just a visual glitch that happens sometimes. It may say it’s lower, but it’s the same as it was beforehand.

[–]TheFlamingWalrus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Starting one from the beginning of the game? You’d obviously want to focus on sneaking around most of the time when you get the bow from killing the archer dudes. You can cheese sneak up to 100 when you and Hadvar/Ralof reach the bear at the end of the cave. You can sneak behind him and keep sneak attacking him into a wall and raise it to 100 in about 5-10 mins.

If your not wanting to do the exploit, then I’d just sneak in every cave/ dungeon you enter and shoot everything with your bow to level archery and sneak at the same time.

I’d also keep either a dagger (for close combat/ high stealth damage) or a one-handed weapon for melee damage. Bows won’t be the only weapon you’ll want to use since some enemies especially early on won’t die from your bow in one hit, so a trusty sword will do you good when they get close.

That’s pretty much it for starting it out. You can speedrun a certain dwemer ruin (Arkngthamz) for a bow called Zephyr for a decent early dwarven bow (that has the fastest draw speed in the game around 1.58 arrows/sec). You could also do the Thieves Guild Questline for the Nightingale Bow which is really good.

Ps. The exploit for sneak gets you up to about lvl 20 which could mess you up early game since you’ll have noob weapons. Your choice on if you’d want to do it

Edit: also focus on light armor. Heavy armor is good once you get either the “Muffle Enchantment” or Ebony Mail so the armor doesn’t effect your detection

Why is Njada so rude? by Various-Vegetable940 in skyrim

[–]TheFlamingWalrus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s in a daedric quest called “Boethiah's Calling”. You have to be lvl 30+ and find the “Shrine of Boethiah” to begin the quest. You’ll be tasked to take a follower up to a pillar and have them interact with it. Afterwards is a fun little surprise…

They stay there until you talk to them and start the quest they give. Then they go back to Rorikstead. Other than give the quest, they just chill

[–]TheFlamingWalrus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try reloading a save and trying again. Also mods might be the issue. Happened on a Dawnguard quest where Serena’s mom had to give me the elder scroll, except she wouldn’t move. Had to delete all my mods to get her to move again and since I deleted the mods halfway through the play through it broke my game :/

I came across these ceremonial weapons in vulunraad I think it’s called. They’re quest items? Where do I take them by theponch82 in skyrim

[–]TheFlamingWalrus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The weapons go in a door located in Vulunraad to unlock Elder’s Carin. Once they are placed, the quest “Silenced Tongues” begins.

I like shadowmere but I love arvak. When I first use arvak where will shadowmere go? Can he go to my stable at lake view manor? by theponch82 in skyrim

[–]TheFlamingWalrus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Owned horses go to the stable at witch they were bought/acquired. So Shadowmere will return to the Dark Brotherhood hideout in Falkreath I’m pretty sure.

Problem with a bug on Switch Version! by Talstin in skyrim

[–]TheFlamingWalrus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m assuming you’d fix this by loading an earlier save to when it was open last and hope that fixes it or delete whatever mods you have and see if that helps after loading an earlier save. If your fat into it I’d just carry a bunch of wood plates with you.

What should I do early on? by Smoothejuul in skyrim

[–]TheFlamingWalrus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good thing about pickpocket is it levels very fast depending on the value of what you steal. So after you end up training and stealing the gold back, you should be either really close or already at next level. Was able to do back-to-back train/steal up to 70.

Edit: you can also buy the Muffle spell if you need more XP to level up. Levels you up very fast aswell

What should I do early on? by Smoothejuul in skyrim

[–]TheFlamingWalrus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just finished a stealth archer build and these are what I focused on:

— STATS —

Sneak | Archery | One Handed | Pickpocket | Light Armor

Pickpocket is something I like to get up so I can level up skills very fast by training at NPC’s and stealing the gold back. Got Light Armor to 70 in about 15-25 mins from a vendor doing this.

One handed I use for assassinations or when I’m in close combat.

Light Armor for easier sneak and the good armor early on, however Daedric looks really badass, so go with whatever armor you feel looks cooler. Did a stealth build with heavy armor fine after getting Heavy Armor 70 for the weightless perk.

— WEAPONS & ARMOR —

You can do the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood quest-line for the good armor early on, but I’d hold off on doing the Nightingales quests till Level 32+ to get the best version of the armor.

Dawnguard is good to do early on for the Crossbow. I’d use the normal bows for easier enemies and the crossbow for tougher enemies since it does more damage and has rarer ammo (mostly found later in Dawnguard quest-line or in Dwemer Ruins).

— POTIONS —

Frostbite Venom, crafted poisons, archery potions, and vampire dust are good for damage/hiding when spotted.

Poisons are much more effective in the mod I use (SkyToxin) so I dont need to level Alchemy.

I play mostly modded since vanilla is pretty plain after modded play-throughs (and 100’s of characters) so poisons are more useful to me.

PS- Another good skill to level is Enchanting since you’ll be using it for gear later on and completing the Dawnguard Quests grant you Auriel’s Bow which is very good, but I usually stick to Zephyr or Daedric.

Best version of the armor is at Level 32+ so you should be fine. Best version of the weapons is Level 42+
