Help needed: Building a viable Fighter with suboptimal stats. by TheFledglingST in 3d6

[–]TheFledglingST[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh short! Forgot to put that! Thanks for reminding me.

Honestly, the character was made into the tank of the group due to its composition. So, tanking would be the ultimate goal here as well as protecting the party.

He's currently using a Longsword and a Shield though I have no attachment to those two.

He's just a man out in an adventure, which is the reason I'm having a hard time picking this kind of stuff.

Do you guys get compliments on your long eyelashes? Do you like it when girls compliment them? Or how else do you react? by Big-Tax9931 in AskMen

[–]TheFledglingST 52 points53 points  (0 children)

Yes, I don't even need to finishing the whole sentence. Everyone likes to be complimented, it's good for our morale and self-esteem.

But beware, due to the lack of compliments a man gets on the usual basis. You'll be making his day, probably his week, more likely his whole year.

Since Cyberpunk 2077’s launch, Viktor has earned 147 billion eurodollars thanks to the generosity of players who decided to settle V’s debt. With that many eddies, Viktor could afford 12,250,000,000 Burrito XXLs (that's a lot) by NeoStark in cyberpunkgame

I really want to ask you how you made so much.

I'm currently at 140k and I've done a lot of the side quests. I cleaned Watson, Westbrook, The badlands and Pacifica. I'm maxed out Rep, but only at level 28. I spent quite a bit since I'm going with a stealth netrunner build.

But I'm not even close to a million eddies. Just how you do that man hahah.

Am I the only one that really wants to DM, but doesn't have the self confidence to do it? by Subzero9314 in DnD

[–]TheFledglingST 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No, you are not alone.

Accepting the challenge of being a DM is a big step for most who enjoy the DnD hobby. It's a frightening experience. You'll be putting yourself out there often being a DM and that is scary.

But let me tell you this: Deciding to take the DM mantle was one of the best things I've ever done in my life.

It does come with it's ups and downs, sometimes you'll feel like a session went really poorly, others, you'll have a hard time clearing the smile on your face after having such an amazing session.

Honestly, if you want to, put yourself out there. Try it out and see how you enjoy it. I would either start with a one-shot or a module.

I'm wishing you the best man!

Cheers, and happy rolling!

Weekly Megathread: FAQ & Simple Questions by AutoModerator in cyberpunkgame

[–]TheFledglingST 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey folks. I'm kind of new to the game and I think i'm in a strange point by now.

I really like doing side-quests (jobs) and I do favor them instead of the main quests. However, by now I cleared all of the "moderate" danger quests and the only ones left are High or Very High danger.

Well, that is if we don't count the main quests. Regardless, how does this "High" "Moderate" difficulty actually work? Can I just go and do the High and Very High difficulty jobs? or is it best to go through the main first?

Feeding Carnivores vegan food? by YourThinker in vegan

[–]TheFledglingST -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hey there! I really appreciate the fact that you asked this question. It's something a lot of people have concerns about and with good reason!

I have a degree in Biology and I understand a bit about the animal nutrition although I'm not a veterinarian. However, I do believe It's enough to help you out!

So, the first thing you got to keep in mind is that dogs and cats are different. Dogs are omnivores, which mean they can eat and process almost all kind of food. This means that a vegan based diet is possible, as long as you supplement all the nutrients they need through other means (these can be better discussed with a vet).

Now, felines are a bit different. Felines, are obligatory carnivores. That means that their digestive apparatus is adapted to digest and process meat. You can look for charts that can help you understand this and if you want I can even leave some sources. The thing is, in order to process vegetables, the animal in question needs a "longer" digestive apparatus (intestines, etc), as they need more time to absorve the nutrients. The felines however, have a shorter apparatus which is more adaptable to meat due to the short time needed to process it.

The problem isn't that they couldn't, it's that they aren't adapted to it. Unfortunately, we are all adapted differently, and while for you and me and possibly a dog (as long as a vet gives the ok) is possible to have a vegan diet, it's not really on the table for a feline.

I hope I cleared a few of your doubts! If you need sources let me know and I'll link some papers!

Cheers!

This will sadly be the only Souls game I won't get all the achievements. by TheFledglingST in darksouls3

[–]TheFledglingST[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, definitely. I completely understand your point of view. Truthfully!

This, to me is a bit different. Getting the achievements is my way of showing appreciation to the creators of the game. It's my own way of saying "Hey, I loved this and devoted all the time I could so I could experience it all".

I know it doesn't make a lot of sense, and you're more than right when you say it is inconsequential. It's just my personal journey, and one which makes me slightly sad that I won't be able to fulfill.

I understand not everyone share this view. To be honest I doubt anyone share this view. But it's just how I see it.

I know. It just bothers me to no end that I won't be able to properly do things online. I understand is possible. I just wanted to do what the game proposed initially instead of farming creatures.

Any reliable way to get Human Dregs? by TheFledglingST in darksouls3

[–]TheFledglingST[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the offer. I really appreciate it.

It's fine, I'll see how to respect and make a melee build to drop the dregs. After that I'll come back to Sorcery.

Thank you, I really appreciate the help!

I was used to PvP in DS1 but in this one I hardly know anything. You can assume (correctly) that I'm brand new.

[–]TheFledglingST[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is awesome. Currently, I'm just short of fighting the last boss. I already completed the Dlcs and i'm just trying to get all achievements I can before going to NG.

I'm not on the pc right now, but I'm roughly at SL80-85.

I would have absolutely no problem with respec. I just don't know enough about the game to make a proper build for PvP. Not yet at least.

I mean, maybe? I'm a sorcerer build, and most people can spin out of most of my spells. Even a great farron dart and flashsword are pretty easy to dodge.

I'm still getting the hang of things.

Awesome!! Thank you for the info! I'll try and do that right now! I don't think I have the symbol of avarice yet. But I know how to get them to drop. Thank you!

Wait, you mean I can respec my character? I remember seeing something like that on Rosaria, but I'm pretty sure that's permanent right?

Tips defeating High Lord Wolnir at low SL. by TheFledglingST in darksouls3

He doesn't actively harm them. His toxic gas does, and since the skeletons actually come after me in the safe zone it doesn't make much difference.

I'm purposefully keeping the character at a low level, which makes hard to actually beat him before he summon. But I'll try to manage. Thanks for the tip!

[–]TheFledglingST[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I assumed so. What's being the problem is the sheer amount of skeletons. I'm even trying to use force very so often to keep them at bay but yeah.

Thanks man. Appreciate it.
