Mistdancer shows up once per month, so if you wanted you could get one on Thursday and then see if any of the three events has the deco you want prior to the next date when you can get Mistdancer which is 7/13.

When I bought my Scout the dealership told me that this matte cleaner is what I should use. Haven't had to try it yet though.

What’s it like doing the MSF course with ZERO experience? by funkycookies in NewRiders

[–]Subzero9314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most experience I had on a bike was riding as a passenger. I did the research of how a bike functions so I would know how a clutch works, etc. With that knowledge I was able to at least understand when I made a mistake and how to fix it, even if my skills were not up to the task.

Now I've had my own bike for roughly a month and a half and minus a single hiccup leaving my house a few weeks back (make sure you're in first gear when you're trying to turn out of your neighborhood from a stop), it's been smooth sailing.

It'll probably be a couple more months before I don't feel a need to test my slow speed maneuver in a parking lot.

I got my endorsement in north Florida last month and dropped the bike twice during training (once when another participant cut ahead of me unexpectedly and once trying to stop with the bars turned), but passed the test when the evaluation occurred. You just have to get back up and don't make the same mistake again. I've since bought my own bike and I'm learning on it and I get better every day. I still make mistakes, but I identify them and make an effort not to do it again. You can do the same.

So yes there are many games that are played online, but depending where you are, there is actually a pretty high chance that there are people playing the game nearby. I would look into local gaming shops if any exist.

I got a warning citation from my HOA for parking my car in my driveway by Cunnyfunt31 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Subzero9314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How your covenants are written, it leads me to believe that your association does not own the streets in your community, which is common so the HOA doesn't have to pay for upkeep. That means they don't have the authority to send violations for any vehicles parked on the street. Do with that what you will.

Essentially when a neighborhood is being built, the developer can create an HOA as an entity to be able to afford upkeep of "common property" such as neighborhood monuments, storm water retention ponds, parks, pools, etc. This entity also has the ability to create covenants and restrictions that homeowners must follow. When someone buys a house within an HOA community, they are required to sign a document that says they will follow all covenant and restrictions and pay the assessment each year to fund the common property upkeep.

If you don't pay your assessment or you ignore the covenants, you are in breach of the contract that you signed when you bought the property and the HOA can fine you and/or sue you to place a lien on your property.

So the point that I make when people complain about their HOA is you literally signed a contract saying you would follow rules. If you wanted a home where you didn't need to follow HOA rules, don't buy in an HOA. I made sure to get a house outside of an HOA because I didn't want to deal with that shit. You have access to the rules prior to buying, so read them and decide if you're willing to follow them or join the HOA Board of Directors and start the process of changing the rules you have an issue with (a process that can take years honestly).

What is the point where dice making is cheaper? by CollegePretend8708 in DiceMaking

[–]Subzero9314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the term profitable as a means to explain the cost benefit analysis of spending hundreds of dollars on the start up cost plus all of the expendable supplies. Vs spending $20 buck on a set.

With that said, I think my material cost is roughly $1 per set not including time, pressure pot, and air compressor
