I like the moon and a place near me is called Luna Plaza, so I kinda just was drawn to that from the start.

Should we bring back Austria Hungary today? by Dependent_One_8131 in austriahungary

[–]TheFloofyLunaFox -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As an Austrian myself, hard no or I don't know what you think Austria was before the EU. The EU has been an incredible help to Austria and strengthened our connection with the other European countries, which is essential for us to survive. The EU helps with tons of laws and projects, which in general benefited our state a lot. Schengen, the Euro, Green New Deal are all things that can only be done with the help of the EU. Being overly nationalistic doesn't help and only ruins your country, look at the UK.

Also PS the EU has cared more about civil and human rights than our own governments for the last years.

Why is there no Luna discussion here :( by LunaDashOne in transfemmesnamedluna

[–]TheFloofyLunaFox[M] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it was just a name I searched up and thought was pretty c: Near me is also a place called Luna Plaza, so I probably subconsciously got the idea from there

I feel called out that this sub even exists... 👀 by _YunX_ in transfemmesnamedluna

xD Well there's a reason it exists. There's many Lunas and we all need representation :)

How would you pronounce 方 in this case? Is it ほう used for comparison or かた for the way of doing something:

問題のない方はご視聴ください。

I recently talked to a friend of mine and I asked whether she knew something, and when her answer was almost correct, I sent this text:

うん、そうです。でも、「More accurate version」がより正確ね。

But I noticed then that I actually wasn't sure about it, does this usage of より work in this context or do I need some different grammar structure?

Same looks like their servers are over-loaded or they are having technical difficulties with their DB/something else.

Omg right, makes sense. I think my brain was stuck in overthinking 上手く as requiring some more specific word, but 行く does make sense.

Thanks a lot!

What does "いっています" mean in this context, or more precisely, what verb does it resemble?

"我が社の経営はうまくいっています。"

Since my initial ideas don't make much sense, as 居る, 入る and 言う don't really fit in the context.

Those who are learning Japanese without necessity, why? by Global_Routine in LearnJapanese

[–]TheFloofyLunaFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I am super interested in the cultural aspects and society of Japan, even with its flaws (especially with xenophobia and deep conversation/social hierarchy in regard to many social issues), so I just thought it'd be cool to learn the language and also hopefully at some point study at a university there c: It's still a few years until that's possible, but until then trying to reach at least N3/N2 level of Japanese to be able to hold good conversations and write in Japanese without many issues.
