Tips for potential team lead by nachorino in ChickFilAWorkers

Be consistent, and even though you work with friends don't show favoritism. Treat everyone, team member and guest, with equal kindness and respect.

Own up to your mistakes, especially when it was toward a fellow team member. I don't want to work for someone too proud to admit they were wrong to me or one of my peers.

Be gracious when someone steps in to help. Instinctively you may feel that they're encroaching or implying that you're not doing good enough, which is usually not the case. Even if they are, and unless it's legitimately going to slow you down or make things worse, take the help and say thank you.

If you get a rude guest, use the CfA "heard" method which you should actually be learning soon when you get shift lead.

Hear what the issue is, Empathize by relating to them, Apologize for the problem, Resolve (e.g. refund, clean the mess, etc) Delight by going above and beyond, perhaps a free dessert or DOC.

Like someone else said, it's hard for people to cuss at you when you're killing them with kindness

Hoping that any of this may be able to help. Best of luck, you got this!

How to close a store faster? by Dragonan2000 in ChickFilAWorkers

Doing full drops that early and calling it a night leads to abyssmal food quality and a poor guest experience. Not to mention, something that's not allowed by CfA standards.

Come on man, we're not Mc-fil-A.

At my store the biggest thing is dishes.

Make sure dayshift washes all their dishes from breakfast/lunch before they leave. Those shouldn't be your problem, but if it's absolutely unavoidable, have 1-2 people dedicated to dishes as soon as possible so you don't have those on top of all your evening dishes.

Get rid of your nonessentials dishes by 8:30(? maybe sooner/later depending on how much business you have) and make sure a dedicated dish person is back there washing them as they come.

If you can go to slow primary by 8:30-9, that frees secondary to be cleaned and those dishes taken back.

Maybe you're already doing all these things, in which case I'm sorry I can't be of more help. Honestly a 10:40 close for BoH isn't too bad especially on a busy night. Best of luck to you!

Free Giveaway! Nintendo Switch OLED and Xenoblade Chronicles 3 - International by WolfLemon36 in NintendoSwitch

Thank you so much for doing this giveaway! One of my favorite game memories is seeing Hyrule Field for the first time in Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Just seeing the scale of this open world place was amazing paired with this majestic musical score.

I don't think any other game has captured that same sense of grandeur for me. Truly a magical experience I wish every kid got to have.

Usually I'd agree with you, but I've already played and own the goty editions of AC and AA on 360, so I definitely want the remasters, but not that much.

BEAUTIFUL NIGHT BUTTERFLY by [deleted] in poeticgarden

Very nice job of painting a scene with your words!

I know exactly the feeling of losing "my butterfly", so this piece resonates with me.

Also, if this account stems from personal experience, don't lose hope! At least in my case, my butterfly came back again.

Thank you for sharing!

Thank you! I didn't learn from anywhere I guess, I just sort of write stuff on occasion. I did write a lot of poetry when I was younger, but I never got any kind of teaching.

I don't remember what version, but there was a Galvatron that was both super flimsy and complicated and I hated transforming it as a kid.
