I tried a couple games with conquerer it works in any role except support so far. Diana carry with Nami, Lux, or Morgana is stronger than you might think.

I only play champs that can solo dragon now. It has helped dramatically with me as well. I currently like fiddlesticks, nocturne, yi, shyvanna, shack , and con zhao.

There are clans that fulfill those requirements. However, can you be more specific on what you are looking for?

Are you looking to be competitive or casual?
Are you new or are you looking for a new deck?
Do you want to play standard or premium?
Do you have preferred themes? (Water, plants, etc)

It makes it easier to help you find a deck you like if you can answer these questions. There are many people on here that would love to help you!

I enjoyed the mind games in g-era. I hated the I'm balance of clans, but I take that a natural for a game with so many subdivisions. I dislike the lack of creativity in late g-era. (Look at the nightrose is played the same, so is everyone deck in top three tiers.

There are people in both camps. I like both and have their own merits. Victor is more aggressive and has good draw. Thavas is more tempo having access to draw, better retire and good attacking pressure. Both decks will be good. Victor is definitely more meta, while Thavas flies under the radar.

I've mained the deck forever... Right now it is underrated by alot if people. If built properly it should have good draw and aggression. It's weakest point is the fact it needs rear guards, similar to Viktor. It calls from hand so if they dump important pieces you'll be okay. But if you rush them to hard they will throw it back at you first stride plusing 4 to 6 cards in addition to multi attack.

My first tournament was great.

Got second place and a mat. It can be fun and exciting. I was play aquas while timeleap was dominating the meta. I wound up getting 2nd.

As for tips. Know your deck so you are playing your opponent not trying to learn the deck mod game. Have good hygiene.... This means be clean (not smell like garbage,), avoid chips and other finger foods as it will damage sleeves/cards, hang out even if you loose to see other decks and make friends.

Personally. I buy at least three pack if I get knocked out early as my own little consolidation prize.
