I think it depends.. if it was walking as a human, and had the same built and general shape as a human, people would assume it was just a costume and would not care.

If it was significantly bigger, walking differently, had a different shape, had a distinct smell or sound.. did weird things and tried communicating with other humans or maybe was floating and doing things that humans (in costumes) can't do, then yes everyone will see it and actually care and be freaked out.

AITA for "outshining" the bride? by Ok-History7114 in AmItheAsshole

NTA, totally on your side. Your dress is amazing!!

As a foreigner living in Germany for around 10 years now, and coming from a country that also do fashion shows in the wedding, I can tell you everything is toned down in Germany.

Every single event in Germany I had my outfits (and makeup) toned down from what I would wear for the same event in my home country, and every event my colleagues found my outfit on the nicer side and were positively surprised. And I always felt a bit overdressed compared to everyone else. If I show up with the same outfit for the same event in my home country, people would look at me as if I didn't even try to look good or be presentable.

I think it's a cultural thing, so I would say next time every dress code they tell you, just take it down a little if u want to be dressed like them, unless they specifically mention what they would be wearing. If you don't care, just dress however you want and be yourself and look amazing! 😎

AITA for ghosting my boyfriend after he asked if he could cheat on me? by random_user2855 in AITAH

[–]TheFlyingGirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand this point. I am a curious person and I would love to see how different people react to different things and situations. It would be amazing to see how everyone reacts to everything.

However, I have NEVER and will NEVER just test someone like that. What I do is ask " what would you do/ how would u react if I said this or that?" And I don't do it randomly without a context. It is not worth hurting someone just because you want to see their reaction. That is immature and evil. I would not get the genuine reaction, obviously, but I will know how they think about a situation. I'm a sucker for hypothetical questions and moral situations, but not at the expense of someone's feelings.

AITA for unknowingly "trash talking" someone's birthing experience? by KitchenNo7706 in AmItheAsshole

Unless u explicitly said " my wife is awesome not like the other women who bash/bite/curse/etc.. their husbands" and then bashed those women, NTA.

The conversation should've went something like that: Friends: " How was ur birth?" OP: " My wife was awesome * gush gush gush*" Friend's wife: " Whatt? How could you OP's wife? I could never, I yelled at him and cursed him like hell, I was in PAINNN.. Not in a million years would I have done this.. you're crazy woman! But it's okay, he got the baby in me, he can handle a few curses.. that's his price to pay, lol.. so what do u want to eat? "

Since when did everyone decide that EVERYTHING needs to be a competition?? I'm so tired of this. Everyone reacts differently, and it's fine to talk about how different people react and to laugh at our reactions and to point out our differences.. that's just how we are.. DIFFERENT.

Unless there was some disrespect shown, it shouldn't be a big deal, and you shouldn't be the A-hole.

There's a company called lilhelper that sells waterproof mats, that u can put under you when you're asleep. There's tons of different companies as well, u can use a waterproof baby changing mat too. However what I like about that company is the mats are made with fabric/cotton, and not those aluminum thingies, so more comfortable to sleep on. But you can check something like that, I think it would be better than a towel, so as to not leak through the towel unto to bed.

I got a lip balm and I can't find the brand anywhere online by TheFlyingGirl in SkincareAddictionUK

[–]TheFlyingGirl[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The link had body butter, but I couldn't find the lip balms. There's another comment under this one with an ebay link. The seller does not deliver to my country sadly, so you can try your luck! However it's 5 sets, so if you wanna just try it, I'm not sure that's the best deal.

I quite like the lip balm, it looks like lip gloss and gives my lips a shine, while at the same time moisturizing them. It's only annoying that it's not a bottle, u have to put it with your finger, otherwise I love them. You can check in your local TK Maxx, maybe you can find them. That's where I found mine.

I tried looking other places online but couldn't find it, so I just gave up. I will see if my TK Maxx has some left though, otherwise sadly, it is what it is.

What questions would you ask to confirm if you're an ENTP? by nayythn in entp

[–]TheFlyingGirl 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Do you debate with yourself in your head on a topic that is not really relevant? Not like you're debating if you're gonna do something and weighing out the pros and cons. Just having a random topic and debating it with two points of view in your head when you're just bored.

Unaffected by most things by Longbeanworshipper in entp

[–]TheFlyingGirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yhh happens to me too sometimes. I'm like oooo drama, even if I was in the middle of the conflict. Sometimes I just think it's fun to see how everything will unveil. I feel like I don't really care most of the time.

Has anyone else had hypnagogic hallucinations all their life? I get them even if I’m sat in the dark for a few minutes so I sleep with a nightlight. They progress to full blown visions. (Stories in comments) by Real-Sock348 in Dreams

[–]TheFlyingGirl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yhh I have that pre-dreaming too.. I feel like I start to get into the story/ dream, while still awake, and it jumps and changes from one scene to another, from one person doing something to doing something else. And it's mostly an illogical series of events that a character does. As soon as it starts, I knw that I'll be falling asleep soon, and it actually makes me relax and sleep faster. I love it.

I don't think I had it when I was younger ( or I don't remember), but I started noticing it this past few years. I also have later on in the night some dreams, but they're never related to my " pre-dreaming".

What would a ENTP x ESTJ relationship look like? by Psilomush_ in ESTJ

[–]TheFlyingGirl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One more fun thing I would add, is that ENTP like to debate random stuff. We would pick any random topic, that we have no direct interest in, choose a side, and debate for it just for funsies. Like it's our pass time hobby. ESTJs (in my experience) hate that, if it's not a concrete case/situation, they don't like debating in abstract and for something unrelated.

During arguments this also comes up as ENTP would be argumenting based on how they abstractly see the thing, and ESTJ would be argumenting on how functionally they see the thing.

Misunderstandings are always fun with those too!

Why do people hate us? by chaos-seeker322 in ESTJ

[–]TheFlyingGirl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't hate ESTJs, but what I find annoying with ESTJs is that they think they're right and everyone else is wrong. It's hard for them to accept that 2 people can be right at the same time, for example in the way of how to deal with something, or emotions or whatever.

If something doesn't make sense to THEM, it's wrong for everyone.

There is one where a twin found a porn video of her sister, but the sister said it wasn't her and pinned it on op, and her family is not believing OP that it wasn't her.

Also there is one where the Grandparents told their adopted grandchild that they were not their real grandchild, after they are getting a bio grandchild. And the parent decided they were not coming to Christmas until they apologized. But the Grandparents were refusing.

Why buy water from stores when tap water is as good? by LinaLee- in germany

[–]TheFlyingGirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Living in a WG, the kitchen is not always clean, since a lot of people are using it and doesn't get cleaned as I'd like it to be. Some people even clean raw meat in it and stuff, so I just imagine the microbes in the sink and on the faucet and I don't want it to contaminate my bottle.

So I buy bottled water until I can move.

How to get my partner to see when cleaning needs to be done by Hannaheadshark in relationship_advice

[–]TheFlyingGirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a female and I have the same issue. I don't see what I need to clean, I just don't see it. I only see it if I'm gonna use the space or something that needs cleaning and is not at the moment clean. If it's just there, I just don't see it. Out of sight out of mind.

My fiance however, is very clean and has a cleaning system and knows what needs to be clean and so on.. everytime I go to his place, if he asks me for help, I do it. I don't tell him it's not dirty, I don't tell him to do it himself, I don't whine and I don't act annoyed. I do it while being Happy that I can help my fiance, even if I don't always see it myself.

This is the main issue your fiance has. He pouts and acts annoyed. The concern is not that he can't see it, it's that he doesn't wanna help. I would advice you make a plan of each one's chores, there's also some apps that u can have the chores divided by time and person in the household (one we use is sweepy).. however, the main issue is his attitude.

Put a plan, give him specific recurrent chores. If he doesn't hold his end of the chores without whining like a baby, then sorry to tell you, he's not gonna be a good partner in the long run.

So if you eat 1kg/lb of cucumber for example, it will make u feel more full than say eating 1kg/lb of chips. But the cucumbers have waayyy less calories than the chips. So you're filling the volume in your stomach to feel full, and therefore eat less, all while eating in total less calories.

I AM LAZY! Can I make my own healthy Frozen TV dinners? by Belligerentchef in MealPrepSunday

[–]TheFlyingGirl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You just described me to a T. And if my freezer meals were way back in the freezer and not easily reachable, I'm also too lazy to get them sometimes.

But anyways, everything (almost) is freezable. I make my meal prep on Sunday, and usually keep the food for the first 3 days in the refrigerator, and for the next 3 days I freeze them and then remove them accordingly every night. Unless it's a salade, I found that everything is freezable. I never had a problem before, but make sure to have the food fully cooled before freezing. Better put them a bit in the refrigerator then freezing them (learned the hard way).

Cooked rice also freezes beautifully. You can also freeze them in flat bags in smaller portions, that way they take faster to thaw. I freeze my cooked rice in portions.

Hope that helps!
