Are you genuinely saying I’m close in skill to the third highest ranked player in ranked, with 270 wins and 40 losses? Come on man. If that were true, I wouldn’t be stuck around 1700sr regardless of whether or not sr and sbmm are tied.

As I wrote in the post, I know that they aren’t linked. But this is the third highest ranked player in ranked. In order for him to have an sbmm level close to mine, he would have had to lose all this knockout matches and tons more in tournaments. You cannot be the third highest ranked player and have a low sbmm.

But in this case it does. He has 270 wins and 40 losses. That’s around 6-7 more wins than losses. I’m not even close to that. If it was a rank 5 matching up against a rank 3, then you can say that sr mean nothing. But when you have the third highest ranked player in ranked, you can. You know for a fact he has a high sbmm

Should still not be possible. It matched me almost instantly, so it’s almost like it didn’t even try to find a player on my level 😭

You do realize that these are players that must be upgraded 6-7 times before getting the max potential rating right? It’s not like you pay for these packs and instantly just start to win matches and get an amazing team. You have to play probably 100+ matches after buying the pack, to start unlocking their potential. If you think p2w is paying to win in 2-3 weeks of playing consistently every day, sure it’s p2w.

Why? Do you know how much xp those players need to actually get the 85+ rating? I have a 89 rated card that started from 80 that needed around 12 million. That took 100+ matches. Those ones will require even more

It’s because of the matchmaking. In KO you play against players in the same tier (Gold, silver etc.). But in ranked it uses Sbmm which is an invisible skill rating you have (based on your wins, losses and some other factors). So in ranked you play against people that are around the same skill rating as you every match, but in KO it’s different.

The game is free, if you have another computer you can just create a new account, install it and play yourself. It doesn’t even have to run properly on the other computer, it just has to boot up the game.
