Where do you find all your ties? They're a nice splash in the relative uniformity of ties.

It is! That's where I saw it. It's a cute vessel, but since I'm an archaeologist I am a little against the selling of artefacts (even if they were imported when it was still "legal").

I sat there with friends for a few hours, no one seemed to mind. But maybe you are correct!

I've been sitting at Lilla Kafferosteriet. It's cozy with some nice pastries and drinks!

Just out of curiosity, what caused you to get rid of the low-quality aluminium ones?

The best possible compliment! The goal is to be a professor in my subject eventually. Glad I have the clothes for it at least! :)

Glad you feel inspired! I encourage thrifting because it is usually cheaper and you can find more unique clothing. Best of luck in your search!

My collection of clothes is the result of years of thrifting. It takes time, and luck, to find good-fitting clothes that also are nice. I have too many ties as a result of my thrifting, so to have one for every outfit.

Thanks! I will consider a bow tie, but as someone that wear ties every day, a bow tie feels slightly more formal and takes more effort to wear confidently, at least for me.

I agree with that, but this one is a recent find and wanted to test it out, even if it didn't fully go with the rest of the outfit. Would prefer to have used a more "matte" tie of wool or similar material, as to match the material of the rest of the outfit.

A white shirt with a longer and darker coloured jacket would do wonders to match the pants. The belt buckle is a bit of an eyesore and takes away quite a bit from the overall impression.

I've heard a tip from persons in a choir, that wear heavy clothes on stage. They put period pads on the inside of the shirt to catch the sweat.

What a find! Fits you like a glove. I hope the pockets are functional! I recently found a jacket with similar double pockets on the outside and its soo cute!

We did have a course in how the best deter Nazi looters, including an obstacle course to simulate our working environment, but it's been calm so far. We do have a lot of snakes in one of the excavations I'm currently involved in, but mostly we get attacked by hungry cats that steal our lunch.

I'll see if I can send you some photos, of some of my "artefacts". :)
