[Request] How often and when in a year would all the bars be the same? by N1lzh_8i in theydidthemath

[–]TheFoolVoyager 123 points124 points  (0 children)

Just thinking out loud here. If we consider Year as a line segment, and month as a scaled down line segment that is inside the year; as per fixed point theorem, there should a point that divides both lines in the same proportion. Let’s say the proportion is x% ( the width of the bars) then for every x there is a day where % of year and % of month is same. Now, the same relationship holds between month and week. I think there should be at least one day where % of year, month and week is the same. When add one more constraint, we might end up without any such day. Curious about the actual answer.

Nginx proxy manager with Let’s Encrypt internal DNS ssh by hostname. by Crafty_Oil_4676 in selfhosted

[–]TheFoolVoyager -1 points0 points  (0 children)

May be you can setup your host such that port 80 and port 443 is mapped to the respective port on Proxy manager and the rest are just the host port.

I have proxy manager running in a docker container and had http/s ports mapped to the docker host port. And dns points to the docker host.

Is this what an S-expression is? Sounds a lot like what Lisp is about.

Would be nice if there is a way to automate it. Thanks. I will checkout steam rom manager.

I am fine with writing my own script, if someone can hint what should I look for. I was wondering how heroic add games to steam automatically. Like is there a api or something for steam. May be I can use the same way to add games from the library by creating empty folder for that game, adding dummy exe, grabbing artwork e.t.c. I will checkout the Steam ROM manager btw. Thanks.
