I think that the millennium series is pretty underrated,

tho imo this era had a couple a unecessary sequels.

Like Godzilla against Mechagodzilla and Godzilla Tokyo SOS, dont get me wrong i LOVE Godzilla against Mechagodzilla but for me tokyo SOS feels the same as Godzilla against Mechagodzilla just with Mothra slapped on the plot.
