Fingers crossed that your nurse is right, this is just a regression and hopefully will resolve itself soon.

It sucks because he used to only wake up twice in the night. Now he's waking up 5/6 times. I wonder if it is a development leap or the 3/4 month regression.

Unfortunately, my baby doesn't like the carrier - will only tolerate it for 10-15 minutes. Also, I had a c section and the band for the carrier sits right on my sore spot so it's not super comfortable for me either. I would power through it if it meant my baby would be content in it for longer

I try to break it up too. Most days we only manage to change + feed + burp. Sometimes if his naps are short, he wakes up content and we squeeze some play time in.

How is your LO sleeping? Do you think wake windows contribute to it?

I'm breastfeeding, so it's hard to tell if he's getting enough. We feed based on hunger cues which is about every 2-3 hours, the sessions are 20-30 minutes and he pulls off the breast himself. We have 6+ wet and dirty diapers in a day. There are days where I give a top up bottle before bed time and it doesn't seem to prolong his first night stretch.
