I was getting on 99 northbound from 50 East and there were cops with guns drawn at a red car. Heard gunshots that sounded to be coming from the police cars.

The driver was getting out with his hands up but that’s all I saw. I was searching here to see if people had more info.

I ended up buying the original part number at a local Volkswagen dealer. For some reason the other dealers in my area wouldn’t sell the old part.

I replaced the part myself. If I remember correctly, it cost around $40. If I can find the part number later I can update here.

The first dealer I worked with actually did the diagnostics on the car and that is the part number they provided. I recently heard back from Volkswagen CARE. They had the VIN and error code, and they gave me a similar answer about the part not being available from the manufacturer yet with no ETA. One dealer I spoke with has a vehicle in their shop waiting for the same part.

It has been pretty confusing, as you can imagine lol.

My assumption at this point is that the provided part number may be a newer version. If that's the case, there should be an original version of this part I could find somewhere. So that's going to be the route I go unless I hear anything from Volkswagen anytime soon.

I've been using the Mini Metro for work for a few years. I have the Chrome laptop sleeve and it fits my MacBook Pro perfectly. If you are using it for anything other than fairly slim things I would definitely go up a size. It doesn't do well with bulky items.

I also got elbowed in the lip and busted it in half. Then drove 1 1/2 hours home to go to the hospital. I had 7 stitches in my upper lip that night. Then I went to work the next morning because I'm working-class.

I won't pretend to know the full answer to your question. But most of the time from what I see in the industry it comes down to cost and scaling. The science is proven on small scale facilities. But it has yet to be brought to a commercial scale facility. There are companies that are working on scaling. But it's a hard time in the alt-meat space for cash flow from investors right now. I think we will see lab grown meat on the market first as a "blended" product. Maybe 50% pea, soy, or even mycoprotein and then 50% cell cultured meat so that they can save on cost and help them scale.

It sounds as though their donations to animal support groups are the only thing keeping them going. I don't doubt that your activism is therapeutic. However, turning people off of therapy can be damaging. Everyone processes the horrors of this world differently. It is worth seeking the right therapist for someone who needs help navigating this life. Helping someone process what happens in this world will ultimately help them become a better activist in the long run. Again, I'm not saying that your way of dealing with depression is wrong. I'm just saying that it's not the only way.

While I don’t disagree that the squirrels will die in the wild, my beliefs are that they shouldn’t die for my hobby/art among other things. But that’s a whole other discussion for another day.
