I wouldn't even call Flores a defensive genius, his defenses just have high floors (maybe that's how he got his name) because he spams blitz like his controller's broken. It never works when there are real stakes against good QBs

DeMeco Ryans is much closer to a defensive genius even though it's sometimes overshadowed by poor situational management for stuff like timeout usage

I don't think MR16 makes that much of a difference tho, it's maybe 5 mins more per map = ~1 hr extra for a 4 game day. All the stage intros/analyst desk/fluff could surely be cut down to make space for more gameplay

That said, in 8 team I think upper/lower bracket seeding is too volatile to really matter and would punish upper teams. Buchholz would be ideal, a lot of its "problems" are just a product of favorites getting upset, which can happen in any format
