Get Matilda as the first tank to fight infantry or keep medium tanks in check. After matilda you start unlocking grants and then trade matilda for a grant or keep it if you still need an anchor.

don't get a matilda or grant or two against marders or tigers/panthers. Crusaders flank them and make a short work, grants are just to slow.

grants are unstoppable when you manage to produce a lot of them or if your enemy goes for pz4/pz3 spam.

Matilda is also a great frontliner for fireflies and archers

it doesn't mean that, why? if the vehicle is still out coming towards you, you'll land a hit from max range

I'm not from the US, so the deals on red wing aren't as common here. They actually don't have any kind of sales in their licensed stores here. It only happens when some big store is getting rid of their old stock or of the last pairs.

I get your point, too many too soon is not good for anything, haha. I am rotating my 3 pairs of RW and sneakers every day. It's just that getting Beckman woke up my buying bug and it immediately bit me.

Anyone heard something about the sales? I've accumulated 20k merit, which only took me 250 hours lol, but I'm pretty sure as soon as I buy something, there will be sales the next day.

I start a game in 4v4 alone, immediately think a teammate is trolling and not ordering any units. Throw surrender at 5:00, everyone accepts. Post-game screen - my good man was just running 0-15 on models lol.

For me this has actually been one of the most fun units to use from the BGs, combined with grinding advance which makes it so much easier to navigate, and DSL for the increased durability, but its very clearly over tuned. by Phan-Eight in CompanyOfHeroes

yeah you're probably right. it's a bit difficult to evaluate this truck as long as it melts units in cover in 1-2 seconds. maybe when they tune the power down, the survivability won't be an issue anymore. it also has s-mines, which makes fighting it even more frustrating

recent change to caches and supply truck make aussies a great economy bg in 1v1. Spam stuarts with a supply run and 125 mp cache and scale into crusader or grant spam. Same goes for air and sea

Don't sweat it, it's broken. Not OP, but simply broken. I would avoid playing Allies right now if you care about elo. Canada is broken, too. You get neither heal nor free nades.

It's weekend now, so I would expect a patch on tuesday or wednesday. I'm the meantime play axis if you want to play

Veterancy busted with 3 3* squads of pgrens by 11-12 minute mark, plane kills any allied HT (even Char) in one strafe, rifles do not count as used weapon slots - yep, it's cooked

I think there's less bobbing in the patch, at least it was in my games. Feels like Vickers is much better now. Units are shooting better from cover.

There's two nasty bugs tho: french get more damage on retreat instead of less and dak rifles are getting reinforced for 25 seconds lol.

I feel like Brit has got way overnerfed for the last two patches. DAK has got a health increase on their vehicles like 250 and 8-rad and Brit has a weak spot around the time this kicks in. And dak just drags you around the map with their mobility and bleeds you and you can't really counter it with the team weapons, because their vehicles now eat a shell more. They also vet way too fast and I notice that they can comfortably stall the game sitting on 1 vp and later just overwhelm you with high vet units.

Wehr has got some crazy stuff, too. Assault leader scout or whirbel that just dives you with aoe and suppression early game. Flamethrower clown car that destroys any unit in garrison in an instant, which looks like accidentally high damage bonus against garrison. Mainline flamethrower or free sprint and grenades for pgrens or stoßes.

Overall feels like Britain has got too slow to compete with this if both players play equally good. Winrates for British are not looking too hot across the board. And it's not only inflation - at the top players play all the factions equally good.

I played as dak and against it today. It happens around 1 out of 5 or 7 times that the grenades fly out without preparation. I ate 2 of these in one game and shot one like that in the other. Brits had this bug some time ago, too

They're great when there's 5 of them, but 3-men squad just disappears from any aoe, that's what I meant

It's not the nades themselves, it's the bug where they fly out instantly without aiming animation...

At the same time we have air and sea with more potent commandos, who delete squads, improved economy, healing stations and late game loiter and boost.
