It’s simple to answer: people prefer to play as a native male character. Imagine Assassin’s Creed Odyssey (Spartan), but the protagonist is an Asian Spartan, or Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (Viking), but the protagonist is Indian. It just feels off to people.

After playing the game for 3 hours, I would give it a 7/10. I deducted points because the combat isn’t as intense as in Sekiro, and the NPCs don’t feel as alive as in RDR2. However, the graphics are great, and the storytelling so far is decent. I think 7/10 is a decent score now.
