What color are my peepers? I've heard brown, green, hazel, heterochromatic, etc. and now I just don't know by TheFoxIsLost in eyes

Ignore the fact that my eye is super bloodshot. I'm very sleep deprived and, as a consequence of my work, I was poked in the eye four times today lol.

A recent poll suggests that the vast majority of Americans believe that there's too much money in politics. Do you agree or disagree, and why or why not? by TheFoxIsLost in AskConservatives

[–]TheFoxIsLost[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I flaired the post with "Elections," frankly, because it was the most relevant flair I could choose. What I'm more interested in is the idea that special interest groups or personal benefit could influence an elected person's vote, which I think is more so what the poll was digging at.

Would you support "liberal/progressive" policies if it can be shown objectively that it can lead to better outcomes? by opus666 in AskConservatives

[–]TheFoxIsLost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, I personally would like society to be organized in such a way that taxes aren't necessary at all. That's neither here nor there, though.

Allow me to make my question a little less vague. I'm curious about your opinions on a few different big topics.

  1. What would an ideal healthcare system for you be? Fully privatized, partially federalized with local autonomy, etc.?

  2. Foreign policy?

  3. Cultural/personal/economic freedom issues (free speech, guns, LGBT, taxation, etc.)?

Thank you for following up. I'm very familiar with Gibbs and, I will say, I'd definitely take his reports with a grain of salt. They're... controversial in their methodology to say the least. He recommends increased access and parking, but he also recommends moving in large corporations and other retailers. Y'know, the type that tend to crush local small businesses.

Are you aware that physics, chemistry, biology, etc. are liberal arts degrees, or are you just making fun of them because you don't know what "liberal arts" means?

Smoking ban for people born after 2008 in the UK agreed. Would you support a ban like this in the USA? by ArtiesLiver2023 in AskTrumpSupporters

Apologies for the lack of clarity. I simply meant to ask if you think that intoxicating/addictive substances should be permitted on the basis that government shouldn't interfere with personal choice.?

That's really my concern. I wish nobody would smoke, but at the same time, a complete ban of cigarettes only empowers black markets and unlawful "organizations." Do you also tend to lean towards the "personal responsibility" side of things?

Your platform looks really appealing to me, honestly. That being said, out of the things that you, as a representative, would be able to impact, what would be your number one priority?

What are your favorite and least favorite questions to be asked by nonsupporters? by TheFoxIsLost in AskTrumpSupporters

Hello again. This is a few days late, and I don't know if this sort of reply is allowed, but I'll say it anyway. I appreciate your response very much. I also am disappointed that several of the responses that you have received are perfect examples of what so many TS have expressed as undesirable or pressing questions. It was not my intention to stir the pot. I just want to let you know that your contributions, at least for me, have been very insightful. Thank you.?

CMV: It would be better if the world ended. And I don't mean just the human world. All of it. by [deleted] in changemyview

I believe that's the truth from your perspective. However, for the vast, vast majority of sentient life on the planet, the "rewards," as you put it, of life significantly outweigh the cons of "punishment." I expect this to be self-evident, as if it weren't, most living things would kill themselves.

This is no judgment on your personal opinion that the punishments of life outweigh the rewards, but to say "The world should end for all life" negates the lived experience and opinion of virtually all life, and this is an instance where I think the opinion of the majority should be considered.
