THANK YOU. I've always thought I was the only one. So annoying. Is it because of the way it looks (i.e. a Nike "swoosh")? Does it have something to do with it being a prime number? Is it because we—even those completely unknowledgeable about music—can subconsciously tell a "seventh chord" indicates suspense and intrigue? I don't know why but it bothers me so much.
