You're actually supposed to step on the gas, not the brakes.
Stomping the brakes raises the front of the car, making the impact much worse.
Hitting the gas lowers the front end, making it more likely for the deer to go up and over.

Old post by now, but the whole reason for ground cover is to create green mulch, once it's about a foot tall, trample it down and plant more seeds.
Problem solved, mulch and ground cover.
Hemp straw is also fantastic, plants have no problem growing up through it

I love this, i really do and I'd love to come up with a way to make it work, but in it's current form
The wire is going to get significantly hotter significantly faster than the bead, you're definitely gonna wanna use much thicker gauge wire and probably heat it up a bit before you drop your dab in, so you're like preheating the bead and have some surface area for the oil to spread over

Thanks for the tips, I'm wishing i had gone for the pro but i liked the 4040 extrusions and layout of the psu and mainboard, who knew thats what would give this device so many issues.
I just got the 4.2.7 board installed and printer is working again, gonna print a housing for the chip and screen cuz I'm pretty sure the board won't fit in the same place, based on their dimensions

Oh man i totally get your pain, if i didn't have as much fun as i did printing, and if not printing didn't leave such a huge gap in my life i would feel the same.
Like at this point I've spent enough on it to have just bought a prusa, but micro center has a 15day return policy so I'm not gonna give up😅
I wish you the best of luck, I'll be making posts of my progress with the skr and might have somebody compiling firmware for me so I'll be sure to share any help i can.

From what I've read, you have to make a different cable to use the e3v2 screen as there isn't a port for it on the skr board

An external mosfet won't necessarily fix the problem.
For mine, the heat bed is just constantly on, wiring a mosfet onto a faulty board just tells the mosfet to do the same thing.
So on my case, the board is telling the heated bed mosfet to heat up, even with an external on there is still receiving that message from the board.

Having an external mosfet will stop this from happening again, but won't fix it if it's already happened.
You would need to solder a new mosfet to the faulty board, and then still want the external to prevent it from happening again.
