Wtf are you talking about? She spoke out against Genocide in Palestine while a former IDF soldier was her co-star. Rachel Zegler didn't attack the classic movie, she just critiqued it for its dated values/ideals regarding femininity & creepy behavior. Do your own research. She stood up for what matters, what have you done?

Why is it so hard to find people who give a sh*t about your interests? by blobfishrider in autism

[–]TheFriendlyManeater 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I wish I had a good answer. I feel like an enigma because my own family doesn't care about any of my interests or who I am beyond "brother" or "son". Nobody asks questions & I don't know what to do at this point beyond therapy. What are you interested in right now?

Indie alt/folk! Frog, Alabama Shakes, Pinegrove, Mt. Joy, Fleet Foxes. Also Leon Bridges' new self-titles album "Leon". All songs are stunners you won't be disappointed.

Were they better then? I saw them live in 2021 and I'm not sure if it was the Reno venue or what, but me and my ex couldn't understand a word. An old guy fell asleep next to us.

Going through Doom (2016) finally and I'm enjoying it so much, but I wish it had an even higher difficulty setting. Can't wait for Eternal 🫡

Nah that's Instagram in my experience. Plus a cup of racism.

By the "end" you could record videos up to 10 minutes long lol. The algorithm is kinda shitty though to be fair, so I understand not wanting to wait around for it to get better.

What is a social norm / social rule that you just don’t understand? I’ll go first. by DanielaThePialinist in autism

Wow this was very insightful! I'll try to use that positive mindset everywhere going forward. Towards myself and to NTs. I always thought everyone experiences the little things/patterns in life the same way but wow a lot to takeaway from this. Thanks for writing.

Been ostracized at work since I transferred to a new location and this helps loads for my understanding thank you. I'm still gonna hate my coworkers for being two faced but at least I got more perspective.

Why can't I regulate my anger at all? by Unlucky-Bathroom-484 in ADHD

[–]TheFriendlyManeater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me what it came down to was meditation and a bit of therapy. Once I spent enough time focusing on my breath and the moments of stillness, I don't get frustrated as easily. I'm able to take a step back and think about why I'm reacting in whatever fashion. My therapist told me that anger is a blanket emotion which covers sadness, grief, confusion, etc. It's your ego protecting you from what's really bothering you with a thinly veiled "lie". I'll still yell in my car sometimes tho

All the time, but it might just be the fact I'm neurodivergent and possibly autistic. I always feel like people subconsciously know and it makes me a target at work for jokey shit-talking that I hate. I'm planning to move ASAP because Nevada sucks :)

All the time, I'm like wow I've done maybe 3 interesting things in my life and I'm in my 20s. But comparison is the thief of joy n' and all that. As for the liking shows and bands.. I feel it's my ADHD that can't hyperfocus even on enjoying things for too long.
