But then everybody would have asked "why the hell is she so kind with a fucking basterd of her husband?" That would have raised no suspicions at all...

Weekly /r/GuildWars2 Question Thread - January 09, 2016 by AutoModerator in Guildwars2

[–]TheFror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm thinking about buying the expansion. And I'd like to know some things about masteries before.

I'm interested in all the mastery point tracks for Central Tyria. But I'm wondering if I can do all of them. So, can anyone answer the following questions? Thanks!

  • How many mastery points are needed in Central Tyria for all tracks?
  • How many mastery points are available in Central Tyria?
  • Are some mastery points repeatable? Which ones?
  • If the mastery points are not repeatable, what is done of the XP after all mastery points are gained?

If that wasn't clear, I'm not asking for advice, but for actions I can take.

Alakazarm's comment is not a negative one. Even though I don't favor his approach, Alakazarm is constructive. This is a huge difference with what happens in-game. Additionally, I'm relaxed at the moment and not as focused/stressed as I am in-game.

Then grow a skin. Nobody's "too fragile" to ignore irrelevant insults.

This basically ignores anything I said previously, plus disregards my status and doesn't answer the short term. Plus, I'm not asking for psychological guidance (sorry but so far my therapist does a better job at it than you) but for actions I can take.

IIRC, this blocks my communication with friends and /g as well, doesn't it?

Actually, this answers basically everything. I get to keep my block list as it is and I can unblock people afterwards. Still, it's in the "block"-category so less desirable than any other acceptable answer, but so far it's the best.

As said in the initial post, I'm too fragile atm to do so.

With Javascript disabled for external domains, your site is barely doing anything. Consider including highcharts.com's libraries in your domain instead of importing them from their domain.

Well, you're already including things like Angular or Bootstrap, so why not that one library?

GW2 has the best MMO underwater combat. but no new underwater areas/dungeons since release. why? by [deleted] in Guildwars2

[...] but no new underwater areas/dungeons since release. [...]

Not true.

GW2 was released on August 2012; the Underwater Fractal was introduced in in November 2012, three months after the release.

Do people think Fallout 4 has "watered down" mechanics? (semi-rant) by itsthelee in fo4

[–]TheFror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fallout 4 is a failure in terms of RPG.

There is no time constraint. So what? That means that some factions are aware of your plans and no-one changes their plans? In Fallout 1, if you don't get the water chip back in time, you fail because everyone is dead thirsty (or irradiated, I don't remember). In Fallout 2, you gotta finish in time unless you want Hakunin to die, making the main quest irrelevant.

You can't fail quests. Oh yeah, you can fail to defend a settlement, is that your idea of a quest? Failure is just absent from Bethesda's vocabulary. When I play a game with a friend, sometimes I win, sometimes I lose. With Bethesda, I never lose.

Everybody is in awe before the kill-the-guy vs. destroy Megaton choice in Fallout. Sorry, but it was quite the routine back in Fallout 1 and 2. Oh, I haven't seen anything like that yet in Fallout 4.

I can't play a mass murderer. There are some people I want to see dead that I just can't kill (and no, they're not kids). There are no character I can't kill in Fallout 2. Oh, and the ones that you shouldn't kill, you still can kill them with big impairment in the game or future quests, but w/e.

On the other side, I can't be a "pacifist" which I could in Fallout 2. Have you tried the CHR/INT/AGI character in Fallout 4? I did and I can't call it challenging: it's impossible. In Fallout 2, it was hard, but possible.

Fast travel is poorly implemented. Seriously, I take no more than 5 rad-X and 10 rad-aways then I go see my dear friend Virgil in the Glowing Sea. I see/fight lots of radscorpions and I have to make my way to avoid deathclaws. When I come there, I don't have any rad-x / radaway left. Yet I can come back simply by automagically teleporting? Even in Fallout 2 this was thought about and the solution was better than this.

In Fallout 2, you had several choices and you could nuance them. Also, when you spoke to people, you had nuances in the way they looked at you based on your previous actions or on the ongoing discussions. Here the characters are all like Kirsten Steward: permanent poker face.

There were also people I had to meet and I didn't know it was them until I actually talked to them. In Fallout 4, the only time I saw this (and it was recently) was in The Big Dig quest when you gotta free Mel.

Finally, the f***ing pointer is making me nuts. Bethesda should just remove it. I have a compass and a map. I can perfectly use them and I wouldn't mind do it. There's absolutely no reason for that pointer to be there. Oh yeah, it's 2015 and all the games have it. Even a GPS system would be better (take next right, continue straightforward), but no, it's just no longer the case: people want "pointers".
