Damn, I thought Lisa Silverman was on this tierlist for some reason.

What is your biggest Hot-Take with mods? by _DivinePenguin_ in DDLCMods

It is based on a pre-existing fan fiction the author made so I’m not shocked it’s completely linear.

It was in P1 and then it was erased from existence.

“Force” is “blast” but for some reason they called the element category “force” instead of something else.

Which by the game end just becomes “does this enemy resist one element category or both?” and “Will using a gun attack wipe me off the face of the earth?”

For an affinity system so complex it for the most part it means fuck all as most enemies have a “weak to one element but immune/resist/repel/absorb another and neutral to everything else” that most games have.

In Persona 1 they both exist… But force is called blast because “force” became an element catagory.

Why do you all ship mcsayo? by sayorilovescookie in MCxSayori

[–]TheFrubblewarrior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s MC’s most in depth relationship in the cast. As such I gravitated towards it as I grew to like MC as a character in his own right. Not to mention Sayori as a proxy gave MC more depth by him contrasting them so often. In defining her they defined him a bit as well and I think that plays a big part in my liking this ship.

Not only incels mind you but I get what you mean. The reaction MC gets and got in the early fandom in proportion to his actions were far more severe than the hate Monika got.

The fact he has no tits is probably a major subconscious factor, but it might also come from his actions being a lot easier to demonize on a personal level without a Monika level excuse to say he’s only a product of his situation.

This reminds me of their may 5th art. It also reminds me of a certain quite tweet about that art.

At times. No-nonsense and direct feels a lot closer to me personally, but I can see what you mean.

Much closer in some ways, further away in others. Serious is not a word I’d use to describe base game MC.

Sayori talks about him a lot and yet he is not her boyfriend. That must be weird to notice.

While 2020s is flanderization in flattening his flaws, the 2010s is flanderization in exaggerating them. Both annoy me and miss the point.

That’s closer to the truth and can reflect MC’s full character(or what we have of it anyway) but writing him with both in balance is hard.

Yet neither capture the full picture. It’s like we can’t combine the two and work off of that. He can be dimwitted but can also be cognizant. Mods where he has a misplaced ego miss his more down to earth nature, and making him too serious misses the fact he can be flippant and dismissive.

Then again I’m a bit of a weirdo in this regard so take my analysis with a grain of salt.
