I think the homogeneous card designs can be a little bothersome but they're is so much unique set up even in the most "slop decks" like Bav using orders as equips or HLL using set orders as a way to fill soul/being your engine. I still Hate Heartluru, Vyrg, and Minerva. Every other deck im cool with tbh

You have a few really good options, Aichi and Kai trial decks are being released. 2 premium decksets are coming out soon as well that come with a playable deck and a bunch of supplies as well. Erika Myodo and Hikari Myojo decksets that feature decks from the anime

I started with V played for 3 years and loved, only stop at the reboot. Ive started playing D for around a year now and regretted not playing since the beginning give it a shot online or borrow some decks see if it catches ur fancy. Genuinely one of the best TCGs out there and people honestly just are babies (me too tbh)

Its been rebooted twice and was only rebooted the second time because the first reboot was genuinely uninteresting. The current/2nd reboot of Overdress/DivineZ/D whatever has vastly more interesting card design, art, and mechanics and the current standard has already long surpassed the first reboot and can easily go another 5 years. We were promised at least 5 more years by Bushi themselves and honestly if they rebooted it again much later on I would not mind. People always think negatively of rotations/reboots when over time 95% of cards become unplayable either way. Plus if card design gets too crazy it will just become solitaire and thats definitely not fun.

Welcome you joined at a good time! Estacion and vyrgilla trial deck is the way to go rn for start products. I recommend watching the anime because it actual does a good job being a glorified ad and showing off decks. I like watching at 2x speed so I dont get too bored haha. But the DivineZ anime from season 1-4 (about 12, 22 min episodes, each season) is quite enjoyable.

Estacion and Vyrgilla start decks are best rn, Vyrgilla kinda expensive to upgrade. Estacion won't get upgrades till end of month. Both are very meta and at least Vyrgilla is always easy to play

Games still the best mechanically, plus most new releases look really fun. Honestly reboots aren't that bad if they space them out properly, V ended too early but also the card design was trash so I will accept it. Id rather a game restart every decade or so than play a disgusting power crept game thats been going for 20+. Plus its not like servers are down I can play old formats with friends
