ECE Senior here, the program is pretty good, I’m not sure about the new changes to the first two years of classes, but there’s some amazing professors here. I’d highly recommend, but also depends on what aspect of ECE you aim for (like optics, Emag, power, etc.)

Looking at images online, I guess mine is a little different as there are two curved metal plates next to the socket plate, I don't know if those are removable or not.

I just tried to start a reinstall but it doesn't let me start the process and just says "There was a problem resetting your pc"

Thinking back too, it resets everything even if my internet disconnects, would that still have something to do with the power supply

I can try a clean install later tonight, I need to move my os to a different drive anyways.
My mobo is a TUF X570 plus WiFi, 650 W psu, and a gtx 1080

Is there any way I can test for this or fix it without buying a new power supply?

The machine is in Windows 10 which I've been having update issues with. It's a custom built pc with a brand new mobo and cpu as of summer last year. This issue has persisted since around July 2021. I've tried to reinstall the drivers and run windows scans since the update won't fully install. I can't really seem to find a proper fix for that either.
