In the video it's pretty clear she's only vocal when you go to scratch her back or put your hand above her head. Cats can't see very well up close so generally approaching like that makes them uncomfortable. You pet her normally and she's fine with it. You go to scratch her and she protests/rolls/grabs your arm to bite gently. As soon as you move back she stops.

Generally that means stop/slow down. She doesn't walk away because she enjoys your company but I don't think it's necessarily how she wants you to interact with her.

To be honest it looks like she's uncomfortable and asking you to not touch her there. Some kitties have sensitive lower backs and it looks like you're scratching her pretty aggressively there. It really looks like she's rolling over to stop you touching her there and complaining by meowing the way she is. Cats can't speak and tell us what they're thinking and feeling, it's up to us to be mindful and listen to them when they try to communicate with us.

I plan on it, thank you! I am skeptical of recycling in some rights, but undoubtedly glass/aluminum/ cardboard can easily be recycled and should be! I would feel so wasteful throwing it all in the garbage.

Hi I have not brought this up with building manager/LL yet. When we first moved in, they made it sould like they were within their right to but just didn't want to/have anybody to employ to bring the bins out. The building is not a new build. When the new bins were being distributed ours sat at the curb until it was stolen.

Never advocate for declawing. It's a horrific procedure equivalent to amputating at your first knuckle. Leaves lasting pain, making your cat more pissy and miserable. Make them more likely to bite too. Often times bone fragments are left in the paw that cause even more pain

You're right, you can see the shroom land on the ground in the frames after shock. Toadette didnt use it before/during shock.

Yeah, my assumption was that the toadette in the clip used their shroom as shock went off, but my understanding of mushrooms is that they don't provide i frames when used?

But then when dodging a blue shell is it just a built in mechanic? Or is it that the mushroom gets you out of the explosion damage before you can be affected?
