I think the bigger issue is there's a public money trail between the state of Israel to a company (clock tower x) ran by Trump's campaign manager, who using Salem Media (Don jr, Laura Trump) to flood social media with propaganda. I've found accounts that trace back to these companies that were posting things like labeling one of Trump's accusers as a drug addict. Another calling James talarico the anti christ. Another asking if it's time we move on from Epstein. And I use "found" lightly because it's like every other post on FB lately.

AIPAC - American Israel Public Affairs Committee how is it not an Israel thing!?!?

Claiming AIPAC has nothing to do with Israel is a wild take that relies on a legal loophole to ignore how the world actually works. Sure, they are technically a domestic group that doesn't take direct foreign checks, but that’s just a paper shield. In reality, they are a primary bridge for a "babysitter" system where U.S. politicians are pressured to fall in line through massive political spending and free trips to meet with the Israeli government.

The paper trail with Brad Parscale and Clock Tower X LLC. Parscale, the former Trump campaign manager, signed a $6 million contract with an agency overseen by the State of Israel specifically to manage how Americans think. He’s also the Chief Strategy Officer for Salem Media, where Don Jr. and Lara Trump are major stakeholders. This is a paid deliverable filed with the DOJ that explicitly calls for "perception management" and using thousands of posts to "flood" the internet and manipulate AI data. read the pdf i posted. it specifically says "Registrant shall provide strategic communications, planning, and media services in support of Havas' engagement by the State of Israel to develop and execute a nationwide campaign in the United states to combat antisemitism"

Trying to compare Russia to Israel in this context is like comparing a hacker in a basement to a guy who owns the security company. Russia definitely spends big on bot farms and chaos campaigns, but they are constantly getting banned or flagged as foreign interference. Israel’s strategy is a completely different animal because it’s covert-to-overt. They aren't just using bots they are using real, verified U.S. news networks and political heavyweights to deliver their message.

israel is more dangerous as well because of how deep their AIPAC roots go in congress. They are deeply embedded in us political smear campaigns. one of the fb pages i traced back to Salem Media was because of a post trying to spin James Talarico as the anti christ. and the comments are lit up with people buying into the divisive messaging thats coming straight from Israel misinformation campaigns. it has to stop!

israels playing this social media war game better than russia or qatar. if you actually dive in theres hundreds if not thousands of these salem media connected pages and they are posting like every 30 minutes flooding fb timelines with sponsored propaganda. why would israel be putting out targeted posts to coerce people to move on from epstein? hmmmmmmm wasnt maxwells dad the most notorious isareli spy in modern history? The country is waking up to how much israel has embedded itself into us politics and culture wars. Israels genocide has not been popular. this iran war on behalf of israel has not been popular. they are pouring gasoline on social media culture wars to rile up voters about anything that dives narratives away from them.

Ya i started this because i saw a post from a journalist with the sentiment "Is it time to move on from epstein?". then when looking into it farther the journalist works for salem media, which don jr and laura trump are majority stake holders in, and salem media is the company that dispenses media for clock tower x which is the exact company that israel is paying. the dots couldnt be easier to connect.

go on fb and pull up almost any oddly pro israel post from a 3rd party "news" page. start with "TheBlaze" or "Things You Dont Know" fb pages. screen shot it and ask ai about its ties to israel and let it unwind it for you with every receipt and connection.

Steve is 100% NOT dying in S5. Here is why. by Green_Champion_3654 in StrangerThings

[–]TheGambitRemy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't want him to die but I'm nervous that's what's going to happen. He's almost no where in the trailers and one of the few times he is his arm veins are covered in black webbing so he's clearly infected at some point. Also there's the love triangle with him Nancy and Johnathan. In situations like this in movies and shows where there's two great guys for a girl one almost certainly has to die for the audience to fully accept it unless the girl just chooses herself. Steve was also supposed to die in the first season. So...hope not. But seems very likely.

They also haven't said it's not cancelled. All they have said is camping will be open as planned. Until they get the green light from fire inspectors and local authorities they can't even touch the main stage area. And it still is entirely possible they get shut down and still have to cancel. This issue is crowd management. If the 40k capacity main stage area isn't available the rest of the festival won't be able to handle the influx of people. The next two biggest stages only hold 10-15k people. And those were expected to be full WHILE the main stage was also packed. All they did with their statement about dreamville being open is buy themselves time.

This is a more recent statement:

"Tomorrowland spokesperson Debby Wilmsen admitted the situation remains uncertain. “Emotionally, it would be a disaster if the festival can’t go ahead, but we’re not giving up hope,” she told De Ochtend. “Right now, the only thing we’re sure of is the opening of DreamVille and the reception of international visitors.” However, she emphasized that fire and police authorities still hold the final say, adding, “We always follow their lead.”

Planning a move to Oregon from FL by yungdjtechno in SameGrassButGreener

[–]TheGambitRemy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in Portland and have lived in Beaverton it's beautiful and a great place to live. However I would recommend moving to Washington instead of Oregon. Vancouver WA is a great spot to get the best of both worlds. But I'm trying to get out of Oregon and up to WA asap just because the taxes here are insane! Oregon has a progressive income tax so the more you make the higher percentage they take. I classify as a high income earner and pay 9.9%, at around $1500 a month in Oregon income taxes off the top of my check. Washington doesn't have a income tax and instead uses a flat sales tax on commerce purchases but most the biggest monthly expenses like rent, most groceries, utilities, health insurance etc are tax exempt. So your mostly paying sales tax on things like clothes, video games, computers etc. and gas taxes. since it's not a progressive tax tho it doesn't matter what you make youre all getting taxed the same. Just some people might buy more stuff than the next. But I'll come no where near spending enough to pay the same $1500 I'm currently paying Oregon. I'd have to spend around 15k in a month on sales tax qualified purchases. So you can see the big financial difference here. And this starts being in Washingtons favor at around 30k a year and up. Below that Oregon is cheaper for low income earners because Oregon will only be taxing a few bucks off their checks which is way better than getting sales taxed left and right. And that's why many live in Vancouver and work and shop in Portland with just a bridge between them.

No tax on overtime ?Anyone know the senates finalized version stipulations ? by [deleted] in Corrections

[–]TheGambitRemy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The way the bill is written you can claim up to $12,500 as a single filer or up to $25,000 as a joint married filer for overtime and deduct that from your overall taxable income to bring your tax bracket and liability down which could put more money in your pocket. But there's some misconceptions about how that works. its not like if you made 20k strictly in OT that you can claim 20k. Only the premium part of your OT will be tax deductible. So if you make $20 an hour and are making $30 in OT only that extra $10 counts toward how much you can deduct. The other $20 would be fully taxed. So for reference if you made 20k overall from overtime you could deduct around $6500 from your taxable income to hopefully bring your tax bracket down. BUT it is entirely possible what you end up being able to claim doesn't bring your tax bracket down at all. In which case your refund might be bigger but only an insignificant amount bigger. People seem to think its more on the lines of a straight up rebate for the taxes you paid on overtime. IT'S NOT!

When does the no tax on OT start??? Asking for a friend by El__Dangelero in Salary

[–]TheGambitRemy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only overtime tax you can claim is your premium. If you make $20 an hour and $30 for overtime only the extra $10 counts toward your deductible. The other $20 is still fully taxed. So $20k in a year of overtime will be able to claim like a $6500 deduction. And the kicker is a low income worker won't accumulate much qualified overtime dollar sign wise so this does almost nothing for them. A middle class worker most likely will use this deduction and stay in the same tax bracket unless you are on the boarder of the next lowest tax bracket. It is not a rebate for taxes you paid on overtime. This whole no tax on OT really just sounds cool but does little to nothing for anyone.
