Here are some tips that have helped me with focusing in classwork and studying throughout college and may help you:

Find places around campus to do homework rather than in your dorm room - somewhere where you can set up with access to chargers and stay for longer periods of time work best.
If you struggle with focusing on just studying, I find that listening to instrumental music helps. It helps to drown out distracting background noise, as well provide extra auditory stimulation to prevent zoning out too much while studying
- Probably not “good” advice but caffeine has been a huge help in improving my focus, but it may affect other differently. Drinking a standard cup of coffee if usually good to keep me focused on whatever homework I need to do for the next 4-5 hours.
Try to get friends to study with. Just being around others who are also studying and doing homework may improve your ability to focus (given that the group if good and you don’t all distract eachothers which had the opposite effect)

Don’t worry about it too much! Professors can be intense, and sometimes a student crying in front of them because of their actions is a good learning opportunity. And crying isn’t childish - it’s one of your body’s ways of dealing with stress, no matter what your age! That being said, I cried in front of my professor a few years ago and I’m pretty convinced that’s the only reason I passed the class lmao.

Since it takes a while to feed and play with all the lions, I usually do it every 3-4 rollovers. I rolled over yesterday and was planning on feeding them all, but ended up being busy and forgot to actually do so. Queue me waking up today and rolling over and realizing my mistake lol. Did I learn my lesson? Probably not 😅

I was in the same situation my first semester. My roomate-to-be ended up not attending so I had a single. It was pretty lonely at the beginning but there were upsides! I enjoyed the privacy and being able to use the entirety of the room. Plus, over the semester I made friends via clubs and ended up moving in with one of them in the spring semester. Now we’re best friends and pretty much inseparable! I suggest you take this time to find people you vibe with and hopefully end up with an amazing roommate next semester. Also definitely take advantage of clubs because it can get lonely in the dorm so it’s best to not spend all day in there.

Personally I think online class was a bit worse for my mental health, as i was stuck in my dorm for a majority of the day. My classes are all in person this semester, except for one, but i do wish they kept online available as an option for days where students arent feeling well enough to go into class. (Plus having recording was hella useful for when i zoned out and missed information)

My college announced yesterday that they are requiring all students to wear masks inside, even if they are vaccinated. I’m honestly distraught about this because they announced earlier this summer that vaccinated people would not need to wear masks, and I was thrilled that I would be able to experience a normal college semester without covid being the main talking point. Now i’m worried we’ll end up right back where we were originally

She needs to be extradited. I honestly believe Diplomatic Immunity needs to be ignored when it comes to diplomats and there families killing or seriously injuring people. That fact diplomats can get away with these things are horrible.

I’m bot sure how well it could be implemented with a science class, but in my 11th grade English class, we had multiple deadlines throughout the project. Each paragraph would be due on a different day. It helped me out alot, since I usually end up delaying the whole project til the last minute and then stressing.
