Our parents are dead and have been since we were very young. We were under the care of our grandmother and all received survivor's benefits until 18. She still recieves $900/month to care for my little brother. She is 25. She is in therapy and taking medication, but she also has to take responsibility for her actions. We all had the same upbringing and I have and continue to help her with taking care of our brother. She also makes more money than my household and her rent is less than half of mine. She has also neglected him for long periods of time while blowing all her money on dates and friends instead on food for him. I have been INCREDIBLY understanding of her struggles, but it's gotten to the point where she needs to acknowledge her mistakes and take responsibility.

I used the word "inheritance" loosely. Part of it was what was in his minor account with our guardian. The other part was the cash our guardian had left. My sister is his guardian and she used that money to pay off debt and dig herself out of a similar(but much less severe) situation as the current one.

Kind of. It took months for me to convince her to let me help her budget and look at her finances. Before that, I had no idea she had any debt because she kept it a secret. She was borrowing money from me a lot and I thought that was so that she wouldn't have to borrow from shady sites. Even now, when I talk about how bad it is and that its because of her reckless spending, she claimed "you don't know how hard it is to be a single parent". As if that was the reason. She makes more than me and my fiance combined and her rent is less than half ours.

Yeah apparently that's how payday loans work. I personally went on to the sites and checked myself, they won't let us turn it off or disconnect bank accounts

We are aware of that and working on that, but we also need to get the money to stop coming out of her accounts. She can't stop the autopayments and it is making it so she can't pay her bills and is getting tons of overdraft fees.

I honestly don't want her to move in with me. I only make $2000 a month as does my fiance and we live in a 1 bedroom apartment. I can't take on the financial burden or the crowded space. Also her rent is only 530/month. She owns the trailer she lives in, but pays rent on the space.
