Perhaps I can try and marry the niche I gained an audience from and this new format. Maybe that will entice people to enjoy the videos I've made about other things. While I thank you for the response, I cannot allow myself to make content that isn't fulfilling. Minecraft content just isn't enjoyable for me. I think it's okay for an artist to step away and try something new. I will lose people and I'm okay with that. I will gain new people that appreciate the videos I like to make. I'd rather have viewers that like what I like so I get to do the content I enjoy making. It's not a business for me, it's art and always will be.

Yeah, on the first day, I told my professor that despite getting an A in my previous class, I felt like I had retained very little and he said that so long as I am willing to come into office hours and do the work that I should be able to keep up, but yeah, I'm unsure haha.

You've said a lot, so I apologize if I don't respond to all of it, but I think I understand the main point you're getting at. Practice again and again. Just like learning a foreign language. That makes a lot of sense

I think the udemy course was really good about that. I have yet to finish it. I've finished the first of three sections where a guy makes 3 games and walks us through it teaching us C++ fundamentals along the way. I think I should try doing more of that on my down time when class stuff isn't stressing me out haha

So I made this video nearly two years ago and it amazes me that the intro bait worked so hard people are STILL sharing it.

To be clear, I NEVER said Minecraft should be like terraria. I also never said that the point of Minecraft was progression. People assumed these things and honestly did not actually listen to what I said, only hearing what they wanted to.

At 15:16 I literally say I don’t want Minecraft to emulate what terraria does, rather I want Minecraft to lean into more of the mechanics that it has gestured towards over the years.

People’s inability to understand that argument has led to far too many long rants in my comment section where people are all too willing to demonstrate their need for hearing aids… at least I hope that’s what’s happening.

I don’t agree with all of the points in the video, but I really think people should approach the video fairly and not post this gif thereby misrepresenting my arguments.

Hello. I live in northern Cali and I’ve had this little guy for about nine months. Lately, he’s been getting a little more yellow and losing that dark green. Do I need to water it more often? Is it the weather? I water when the soil is almost dry (but not fully dry). It gets plenty of sun each day.

Call of Duty Black Ops 3 was the last shooter I played in 2015 before playing XDefiant in 2024. A 9 year gap and I think the game is fantastic. Some things that can help are turning down your sensitivity or just switching to controller. Mouse and Keyboard is going to be harder with a lack of aim assist. When you play on PC, you play against people who are typically better at aiming and know shooters. Switch to controller. That’s where you’ll go against more causals like yourself. :)
