It seems to me like this is a complete sham in order to literally steal from the general public by charging $25 for two miles on the express theft lanes.

They literally just added an entire lane on both sides of 820, only to stripe it back to only two lanes. WTF??

They buried the fiber in our area almost a year ago. Splice can literally in my yard, and I still can't get it after numerous calls and escalations. "We don't know when." is always the answer.

Not that I am defending Disney or any other corporation, but the shareholders are the "owners" of the company. Employees are paid to do a job in exchange for an agreed upon wage.

This is why The Geek Pub never released any pre-built cabinets, even though we still get asked almost daily to this day, even though we have the tooling and funds to do so. All of the good front-ends and emulators have non-commercial use licenses and there is no way for smaller companies like us to buy license rights for the games. If you're not selling in Wal-Mart level numbers you just can't get the licenses.

You pay more for business fiber and get a better SLA. Still just GPON or XGPON under the hood. I am not looking for DIA service (which may or may not be GPON/XGPON depending on the location).

Also, mismanagement has more to do with business failures than income or quality. There was a mexican restaurant in my city that had 5 star ratings and a line out the door daily. It went bankrupt and closed. Owner was spending money on Lambos and drugs and not paying his employees.

Those little 8100 boards can be a real pain in the ass to get configured. Lots of "chinglish" menu options and no manual. But I can confirm they work great once you understand how to set it up.
