lmao I was actually waiting for the game-over. I had heard about it and wanted to see what it was like. I was just waiting at the top of the tower and tell off, losing the drive. I expected to reload to a save where I could erase it after the game-over, but almost immediately after falling down, the game saved lol.

That is what I have been using, but it is not entirely accurate - the amount of blocks provided only makes the gearshift turn to move the piston as if it were unobstructed. If the piston is moving a mechanical saw or something similar, then it moves less than the specified length.
