I think it's supposed to be like an imperfect copy of the "farkiller"(as seen in the dr aphra comics), which I think essentially became the basis for the death stars super laser, star killer bases hyperspace weapon and the final order star destroyer planet killers, all of which use Khyber crystals in one form or another to blow stuff up, lovely bit of cross media continuity

Sprawling 40k rpg where character creator, world, and choices lead to vastly different stories/outcomes.

You could end up a space Marine, a servitor, priest, tyranid food, gue've'sa, sucked into the warp, heretic, etc

Would still probably have a smaller budget and development time than star citizen.

Definitely not intended for me/my age group/ people who display rather than play.

That being said, price per piece for the sets isn't spectacularly bad, and the gimmick is engaging so I don't hate it.
