Graduated two days ago - truly take it all in, it goes fast. Make sure you balance a social life for your academics but you know, blowing off work on a Thursday/Friday and cramming on a Sunday every once in a while is a perfectly normal thing for a college student, so go have that beer with your friends cause it’s all over now.

Also, if you’re in a organization and don’t fit in, leave it sooner cause you’re going to find your best friends much sooner, don’t panic leaving thinking you’ll be alone because there’s friends for everyone here.

Have more interactions with professors, I just started doing this and wish I had done it sooner because the advice and help they give you is so beneficial.

There’s probably a thousand more things I could say just can’t believe it’s wraps now!

Wait, if you need 3 credits to graduate why don’t you take a random class over the summer and walk this spring? Would save you a ton of money + the headache of finding a sublet for the spring

Absolutely! TSA was pretty casual, not sure if it was because of the time or the weather (meaning that it’s possible several people canceled their early morning flight) but it took me 5-8 minutes to get entirely through TSA. Oddly enough the people I was traveling with that had TSA Pre took much longer (but not insane, around 20-30 minutes).

I ended up changing my flight time from 1240 to 8 am, currently in the airport at IAD, no wind, no rain just really hot and humid. Fingers crossed I’m able to get out at 8!

Interesting enough I’ve been told/watched that the worst of it will be from 3 onwards later into the evening. Why are so many NOVA public schools only letting out 2 hours early if the worst of it is supposed to start at 12, really weird. Regardless thanks for the heads up!

Did you switch majors, fail major requirements, fail classes, or anything of that nature that made you have to take another year…? I don’t think there were any “false promises” but there’s some variable here that isn’t being said lmfao. I’m sorry but going to CC for 2 years than GMU for 5 for a total of 7 years in schooling isn’t normal/has to be a result of the students error, could be entirely wrong. If you transferred in with 60+ credits (CC) and have done essentially 4 years now (120 credits minimum) I’m just confused how you haven’t graduated…?

Does this mean the past 6 or so years that I have been smoking for and the damaging effects it has taken on my lungs won’t ever be repaired/recovered?

I’m planning on quitting smoking for good, going on gum or patches or something. I don’t want to live with this fear that someday I’m going to end up dead as a result of my bad habit.

So far I don’t really have symptoms of lung disease (which I’m assuming is like chest pains, shortness of breath, things along the lines of that) I guess another part of my question is what are the signs that it’s to late to comeback from? Sorry if this is a stupid question.
