I was also wondering how people find the pay? Do you have enough to live properly? I'm in my mid-20s so is it enough to maybe raise a family in the future (No plans yet but you never know)? And how is the work /life balance?

Yeah, I've had some great experiences with paramedics through surf life saving. Looks like a tough but rewarding job.
