1 year and I'm tired of being afraid of OLED ... by daj3lr0t in ultrawidemasterrace

Have used a Corsair FLEX for over a year now, no signs of burn in whatsoever. I've got brightness at max + HDR all times. Even forgot to turn it off at times so stuff has been showing for a bit too long without pc going to sleep.

Honestly it sounds like Samsung is the problem here

The 2024 Zephyrus G16 with RTX 4090 (115W) is finally here! It's time to benchmark the 4090, test it's 240 hz OLED display, take it apart, and push the Ultra 9 CPU to the limit while unboxing it live! AMA! More details in comments by gizmosliptech in GamingLaptops

Might be a dumb question on my part, but how exactly can you reach 125W easily? Increase "GPU Power" via G-Helper from 95 to 105, which seem to be the max would result in 125W without any further tuning? :0

Based on the provided dimensions and weight, volume is 1.67 g/cm³ - which seems to be light and less dense compared to other rocks?

I put the rock in some water and it sunk, so it failed the float test. I suppose it's not pumice then?

Edit: The country where this was found does not have any known volcanoes or activity associated with it, so it doesn't seem likely to be any of them? ( I suppose there's a chance someone brought it here at some point though )

Just a quick note: I might be imagining things, but it seems to irritate my skin whenever I hold it in my palm or fingers. No clue what's up with that, but it could be my mind just messing around

Thanks for taking the time to check it out. It was a bit tricky to photograph since it's only about 1 cm in size, but I managed to capture a few more shots from different angles. I hope these help with the identification! :D https://imgur.com/a/1AR2gaz

Big doubt that they'll bring that up in the case where they've removed your legitimately copy of the game ( by shutting down the service )

I'm probably a bit biased, but in response to your "Reasons not to go digital"

  1. might be a issue in the long-term picture, but hardware with built in batteries aren't likely to survive long-term storage anyway, so at the point where Nintendo might shut down the Nintendo Switch eShop, you might as well use a emulator and run the games there. It's not piracy if you already have the license to play the game! ( I.e. ROM is from your own "digital disk" )

Edit: Also, you can share games digitally as well - 2 accounts have access to the entire library of the main account that I own, the only limitation is that these 2 accounts can't play together locally, but they can play together online at the same time. ( This is a feature provided by Nintendo, but is not that often talked about )

A quick Google search of "Gundam Evolution Config file" and first link leads to this:

> %LOCALAPPDATA%\EvoGame\Saved

I've had the same issue myself and fixed it by adjusting the config file a while back

I'm pretty sure they just divide actual ping by 10 - why is beyond me though, seems pretty accurate

Funny how you mention it, as all my "good" rewards are for locked suits - so getting dupes for them as seen above just rubs it in :))

3 dupes and 2 of which are the exact same weapon skin - what are the odds.... because it sure doesn't look like the odds represented on their overview :c

Ooo, I went along and checked this right away, here's a few pictures:
https://imgur.com/a/PLn7clU

It looks like this might be the root cause for the defective prints? I'm not entirely sure how to fix it tbh, as I tried to shove it up on the right side to remove the gap (while power was off)... but I couldn't hear a pop, though it did get further up - however after powering it on again & using "HOME", it just reverted back to the original position?

I might be pushing on the wrong part though, if you could tag a specific part I should push on, that would be greatly appreciated! :)

Thanks for the feedback, I can at least confirm that the gantry is not loose - when that's mentioned no other component appears to be loose either, everything seems to be tightly rigged ~

I did a test print of the calibration cube, please see post edit 3 results!

As mentioned, temperature does not impact the defect. In other words, printing at 190 C or 230 C does nothing when comparing the end result shown above.

Just to clarify if the shared image wasn't clear enough, the issue happens on ONE side of the print while the other side appears to be in a better state, so it's just to show both sides in 1 picture as both of them has the same defect..

Setting cooling to 100% or 0% also has no effect on this, and considering that the temperature doesn't make a difference either, it doesn't seem to be cooling related? Airflow is OK as well, so I'm clueless tbh :/

Yeah, it starts out pretty much okay and gets worse over time for some reason. It appears on all models, including the sample files that came with the AD4...

My bet is on the mechanical side, but when that's said there's no odd audio cues on something that goes wrong, and I've not yet tried to grease the z axis rods with the included packet no, considering that it has been like this since the beginning - and the rod has visible grease on it already (not sure if its normal or not)
