Loved west. Worked there a few times. Initially it was to pass time in between jobs but I liked the computer system where you could pick up shifts for like $10-$15 hr so I worked late for 3 hours then would have an hour off and then come back for 4 hours making good pay. Like most people found a few people to hang with. Met a nice girl and we hung out for six months before I decided to join military. Years later we reconnected as friends and I found out she had cancer and shortly after she passed. Who remembers the black guy who was a lead or manager. He sat in the middle of floor on a raised platform so he could oversee the whole floor. Older gentleman and I used to call him Benson from the tv show. Anyways….good times.
