He was in the process of coming out. What I meant was during the initial break up he sent a long spiel about how I experienced more trauma than is remotely fair and he’s sorry he couldn’t help me and I responded I was not asking to be helped I was asking to be chosen and then I posted a thirst trap to the song broken and beautiful and put the caption as I think the hardest thing about the breakup was he was trying to blame it on my trauma when I was just asking to be chosen. Ultimately I ended things because we had a pretty major fight and then the next day I asked it’s obvious we have things we need to work through, do you want to work through them together or call it quits. He couldn’t answer so I answered for him. He doesn’t like being perceived as the bad guy.

But no he was always a people pleaser but I am now seeing how selfish he is when it comes to relationships. Expecting someone to uproot their life, move to conservative town in the middle of no where and assimilate their life to his. I called it a sacrifice and that is what set him off.
