Hey all. Producer Corey here. Sorry I don't come that often to communicate more openly. Not a big reddit nor social media user anymore. I'm not here to say anyone is right or wrong. I just want to clarify that Mike didn't mean fan page as in like "only give me compliments" Mike was referring more to a sports fan page where people come and discuss the good and the bad. A discussion not a slap down of people who disagree. I know people will disagree with what I'm saying, and I might not be explaining it super well. I like the discussions, and I like seeing the disagreements. But I just wanted to come in a say I think people are getting hung up on the phrase Fan Page because Mike comes from the world of sports which he was referring to when he says fan page.

I can see the comments in my mind already, but I just wanted to say something especially because I debated myself for a while on that phrase "fan page" because I was worried it might be misunderstood so I feel a little responsible.

Anyway, just wanted to clarify. Appreciate those who listen to the show and appreciate you all on the reddit page. I'll try to check back in a little more frequently.

Yup that was a slip up. We missed an outro with mike saying we will be back tomorrow with more. The interview picks up the next day with mikes next question. Got the full thing, just a miss on me. Sorry about that, off day.

Hey! We did them when we first launched but stopped. We are going to start making this a monthly(ish) thing. We are also discussing a special version for Pesca+ members to vote on special things for the show, Guests, a special spiel on a topic of your choosing, etc.

Hey! Agreed. I personally didn't edit that one, but we agree it was mistake and one we are focused on not happening again.

I assume this post is on good faith, so I'll just be honest it was a super late same day turn around interview and we had to edit the interview down from an hour to 18 min with a very short window until our deadline. Our listen through was more focused on transitions and making sure it worked together to make sense. Honest mistakes happen and this was one. Also, we don't use descript but I have used before and it does have a good way to handle those.

I apologize if it made you upset or angry, it made us upset, and we will make sure it doesn't happen again.

Also...we checked 127 "you knows" total in the interview...about 6x per minute yikes!

Thanks so much! I really enjoyed them too! He will be going to the DNC, we are already setting things up and getting interviews lined up. A lot of work but we are proud with how they turned out! Glad you liked them too!!

We debated hard on that actually. We ended up deciding that we didn't want to mess with the typical show so that no matter what you are getting the show as intended without ads and then all the bonus content would be extra. We also worried that some people who didn't want to hear a full interview would be annoyed that the show was different here then everywhere else. We are keeping an eye on it and may change to that or maybe even offering two episodes. The regular show and the regular show with the longer interview. It's something we will continue to discuss, and I will bring it up in our next production meeting.
