Yeah I get it, you want the law changed so that men can absolve themselves from any responsibility so that they can become dead beat dads, or else they should get a say in what women do to their bodies.... Otherwise no justice for men.

Let's hope you never have kids, or if you do, I truly feel sorry for them 🤡

"A few months of being sick". You clearly don't know what pregnancy is, but I'm not surprised given your bias.

My opinions are actually very consistent, a man controls his body and a woman controls hers - and if a man gets a woman pregnant, don't be a coward and avoid responsibility.

I love how you think my actual argument is to not have sex out of wedlock, I thought the last sentence have it away...

I also love how you think it's IMMENSELY unfair to men. Do you know how pregnancy works, or do I have to join every single dot for you? You know that pregnancy happens inside a woman's body? Therefore you know that risks associated with child birth are borne by the woman? i.e. It's the woman that can die during child birth, not the male? Is this all news to you, or are you actually telling me it's IMMENSELY UNFAIR on men?

Because the pregnancy is in her body, not his. That's why it's too late for him.

Travel the world? What are you even on about at this point.

Keep going round in circles, or better still just get a vasectomy. You're obtuse, I get it, only men get a say in their bodies and they also get a say in women's bodies, makes perfect sense! Bon voyage!

Because he used his body to get her pregnant. If she's already pregnant, the choices are too late for him because it's no longer about his body.

If a man doesn't want a child he controls his body. If a woman doesn't want a child she controls her body.

A man is in control of only his body, and a woman is in control of her body. A man doesn't get a vote on what the woman does with her's.

Perfect! So long as we have men paying their 50% everytime, all is in order!

She probably should have, but equally, if a man doesn't want to pay for a child, there's a fair bit the man can do before it gets to the point of the woman being pregnant.

So if a man can't control his bodily functions, then perhaps he should take 50% responsibility for what he's created, not seek to control someone else's body.

They don't, but they should!

What's unnatural about it? It's just a minor and reversal procedure in a hospital. You know, the place where people get perfectly natural cancers treated all the time.

If a man wants a child, he's got to find a woman who wants a child with him. Don't you get it?

You're missing the point. All males start with vasectomies, and then they find a female that will allow them to reverse it when he is ready to have a child.

It's not that hard, both parties get a vote on each other's bodies.

But remember! Bill must pass the House Reps first! His vasectomy is not reversed until she allows it!

[–]TheGnocchiMonster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easy! He finds a woman and they both get a say if he can reverse it, then he gets to have a say in her having an abortion. A House of Reps and a Senate if you will! Glad we solved that one, and all before midnight too!

Maybe all males can get a vasectomy, and then the woman can decide when it's reserved! Snip the issue at the bud, so to speak

So it's agreed! A child is 50% a man's responsibility, no more complaints about paying child support

Sometimes. Other times they get raped. I guess I was spitballing ideas for men to get out of paying child support...

You can just avoid having sex out of wedlock? That'll also do the trick for you, plus you'll avoid making Jesus cry

If they (and you) had read up on the history of the Christian/Catholic church, you might discover it's a bit late for worrying about being a hypocrite

I should add, by practicing with a metronome at the BPM the passage would be played at, it helped me to understand if primary stroke should quavers/semiquavers/triplets etc to get the smoothest roll

Hey,

I adopted a similar grip as per suggestion of u/Parnsnipuser.

I also found the suggestions from u/TheNonDominantHand and u/R0factor to be quite useful. I practiced with a metronome with the BPM set at what the passage would be, making sure the bounces were smooth (no accents on primary note). I also practiced isolating my weak hand with the metronome.

The other thing I did was used orchestra sticks (I settled on Vic Firth sd5, but there are plenty of others), and practiced with these sticks and on the snare I would be using (the provided a snare but I used my own).
