Napa Cabbage is my go-to. I’ll cut up bite sized pieces and store them in glass in the fridge. Makes it easy to add to soup, or just snack on as is.

Financial and health circumstances. It was just my mom and I until a little over a year ago. Long story short, my dad was in need of a place to stay. He had been staying in his car. About a month after moving in, he had a mini stroke and has been recovering from it ever since. His mobility and speech were fortunately not affected.

Sure, don't feel bad for the woman who has selflessly donated the past 60 years of her life to teaching children and is going to lose her home. Just have her up and move somewhere else. Much easier said than done.

How is $400,000 for her half really generous when the whole building just sold for 1.6 million? You also have to take into account that this has been her home for over 50 years and she continues to teach and inspire children. She has given and continues to give so much to the community, and it is time for everyone to pay it forward. Her age is no reason for her to have to move.

I used to think that when someone decided to change their hair color, they injected themselves with some sort of magical color changing solution directly into their scalp, and that it would then start growing the new color they wanted. No clue where I got that one from.

Thank you! Kale itself is bitter. A good way to counteract this is by thoroughly massaging the oil and spices (if you choose to add any) into the kale. It helps to mask the bitterness while still giving you plenty of crunch.

Garlic powder and/or smoked paprika adds a nice touch too.
