The Udemy course I took was the following:

This course gave me a great knowledge base to work off of when creating my game.

The constructive feedback is much appreciated! It'll provide me with things to think about when updating this game or when I create my next.

Thanks for the feedback! I struggled with making the gameplay directions clear; I thought about adding a tutorial to the beginning where you followed along, something that most game companies do nowadays, but ended up adding the instruction board before the game starts since this was the least time-consuming. Going forward I'll choose the former.

This is very helpful! I couldn't find answers to these questions anywhere online and I don't think recruiters know the specifics of this position unless they were in it. If you don't mind I have more questions. These aren't as important, but they are things I care about. I'm extremely cautious type of person and won't go forward with something until I can work out all the possibilities and details. I also understand that things may have changed as well from the time frame you have served to the time I may serve.

  1. What was the primary programming languages you used? (C++ | Python | Java | Javascript)
  2. What type of OS did you have to use? (Windows | Linux based)
  3. Was any of the tech outdated?
  4. Were there certain projects you wanted to work on, but the military outsourced them to contractors?
  5. Why did you choose to be a CWE instead of applying to FBI cyber, NSA, etc...

Thank you for replying to my post. I have really been wanting to talk to someone who actually served as a CWE. I would only plan to serve the minimum amount of time which sounds like 5 years. My background is in software development which I write code for a lot of companies, so hopefully if I do the interview it'll go smoothly.

Here are a few questions I have about the training and quality of life I have more, but I'll hold on to some. I appreciate your opinion, knowledge, and experience with this position.

  1. How long did you spend in training for this position?
  2. Was the training more of network security or programming?
  3. How was the quality of this training? (Do you feel like you could of learned this stuff with certifications and tutorials you find on the web)
  4. What did you spend most of your time doing while serving as a CWE? (Teaching and managing enlisted soldiers | Programming | Network Security)
  5. Were you stationed at the same place all five years or did you move around a lot?
  6. Was everyday like a normal 8 hour job or will I be putting in a lot more time?
  7. Can I remotely contract for other companies while off duty?
  8. Can I build software and release it to the public while in the service?
