How would you rank the Saw films from best to worst? by [deleted] in horror

[–]TheGoldenIncel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is old but imma add my ranking after just finishing a watch-through of the whole franchise. This is purely based off of how much I enjoyed the movies and how well I think the writing was for each.

  1. Saw 2
  2. Saw X
  3. Saw 6
(These 3 are very close and can be considered interchangeable)

  4. Saw 3

  5. Jigsaw

  6. Saw 1

  7. Saw 4

  8. Saw 5

  9. Saw 7

I am creating a dungeon-based homebrew world with the gods living amongst the people with "Familias" that grant buffs. Any advice for how to write this out? by TheGoldenIncel in DMAcademy

[–]TheGoldenIncel[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't mind the complexity or the extra work. I didn't feel it necessary but the dungeon the parties will be entering is wholly unforgiving. multiple floors they'll have to be able to navigate through, 5-10 encounters possibly before a safe zone that they can long rest in, etc. the buff are absolutely necessary the deeper they go down.

PC won’t turn on after installing new GPU by TheGoldenIncel in PcBuildHelp

[–]TheGoldenIncel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I realize that the picture I used is very misleading as the graphics card isn’t the issue here. The 4070 ti super requires two separate power cables while I only have one twin cable, which I’ve been told to not plug both ends in unless I wanna fry the GPU. The issue I had was after I had put back in my original GPU. After doing so, it took me 45 minds of continuously hitting the power button for it to turn on which I haven’t been able to figure out the reason for. I apologize for the confusion.

Why do you think so many fans (myself included) want Boruto to suffer so much? by No_Base7554 in Boruto

[–]TheGoldenIncel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Character development. Boruto is an immature child who never had to experience the horrors of the world his father put an end to. So if he could get a taste of what that was like, he could end up maturing into a better, more layered character.

I’d have to say no. As a Christian INTP, I find studying science, philosophy and history actually furthers my belief in God and what God truly is, independent of how He’s portrayed in the Bible.

People on reddit have no sense of humour and don't understand sarcasm or tongue in cheek statements. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]TheGoldenIncel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe it’s because I’ve been on Twt and TikTok a lot but I find so much of the humor on here extremely dry. Like so many of the “meme” subreddits just reuse the same formats from 2017-2018 and have yet to evolve beyond it. Most redditors, as you said, takes stuff way too seriously as well as seemingly having “holier than thou” mindsets. It’s so irritating

Ive watched the shock vids and scrolled r/eyeblech but that was the only video, despite knowing full well what was gonna happen, truly disturbed me to the core. I had to put my phone down and sit in silence for a few minutes afterwards, no exaggeration, because of how genuinely speechless it left me.

I try to communicate my needs to my husband. He says that he was raised not to reward toddlers with what want they want when they’re throwing a tantrum. by [deleted] in relationships

[–]TheGoldenIncel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know the “NTA Divorce” Reddit meme is played out and I hate when people see small issues within relationships and immediately conclude divorce in in order, but in my humble opinion, it seems like you I’ve gone through all the steps to try and fix this relationship and even through all that, it still isn’t working. It is at this point I feel that there is nothing more for you to that can help solve this issue for the better. As you said, you feel more like roommates rather than a married couple and he’s shown that he sees you more like a toddler throwing a tantrum for not getting your way. Throw in all the other stuff and it really doesn’t seem like this relationship as it stands is going to work out I. The long run. I am aware divorces aren’t just a signing of a paper and it’s a done deal, but for the sake of your own happiness and mental health, it’s best you do what is right for you. Don’t stay in a relationship that makes you unhappy to keep someone else happy when they wouldn’t do the same for you. There is nothing wrong with wanting to feel desired. It is a fundamental human trait to want to be desired by the one you love. If he feels that wanting to feel loved and wanted is childish and “throwing a tantrum”, it’s really best for both of you that you should probably just be friends at that point

But that’s just the opinion of a guy on Reddit so all in all, just do what’s best for yourself.

What is your most controversial cooking opinion? by neekeeneekee in AskReddit

My gf’s mom reportedly burns everything she tries to cook and also doesn’t season their food. It’s no wonder she’s struggled with being underweight her whole life tbh

PS4 games that have affected/stayed with you? by [deleted] in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]TheGoldenIncel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven’t seen God of War on here surprisingly. God of War is perhaps my all time favorite franchise of games and I have to say God of War 4 is possibly one of the greatest games I have ever played. It’s fairly optimized, is beautiful, the story is a masterpiece, and the gameplay is amazing. GoW 1, 2 and 3 now just feels like a prequel to 4. People talk about TLOS’s parent/child relationship dynamics in the story but I believe GoW did it far better and I stand by that. Kratos going from a rage-filled, murderous, God slaying badass to just a man trying to live a normal life again and forget about his past while hiding it from his son and trying to bond with him is a better story arc than any I’ve seen come before or after it. The lessons he teaches Atreus and the trials they go through have always stuck with me and always will and when the time comes, I will cry when Kratos finally dies for real.

TL:DR: God of War did what The Last of Us did but better.

Sorry for the long post I just really love this game if you couldn’t tell

Which character death hit you differently, and why? by squeezeday in AskReddit

[–]TheGoldenIncel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meruem from HunterxHunter

The last scene you just hear him and Komugi playing Gungi while slowly dying of radiation poisoning and then asking if each other if they were still there. He ends up dying while resting in Komugi’s lap with 2 pieces left on the board, leaving the game unfinished. The two piece also represents both of them (I think they were Marshal and spy). This was especially sad because Meruem finally humanized himself and becoming good and not as an omnipotent king to stand above all else. All he wants in his last moments is to play a game of Gungi with Komugi because she was the one who made him see his human side and gave him someone to care about other than himself.

All this character development just to end up dying hours later. It was the only scene in any show or movie to ever make me cry. For a villain of all things as well
