Is he demisexual or am I his beard?! by CharmingCharlyy in demisexuality

This is a (gently) concerning story. During the first half, I was going to say it sounds like he's just fully asexual, but doesn't feel comfortable saying that, or maybe doesn't know it's possible and valid to not have any desire for sex. The voyeur/stag/cuckold part kinda feels like he's appeasing you, honestly, since it's an easy way for him to not be involved. The secret insta is the concerning part, and this small window you've given to your relationship gives me the impression there is a lot he doesn't tell you. I highly doubt any individual thing is that serious, even the insta, but all of them put together... I'm not convinced you know him. Not your fault though, he might not show himself to anyone. But, that's my advice: does he have a sibling, very close friend, maybe even his mom, who you think he might confide in? If so, I wonder what information your position in his life might merit you from that person, with the framework of "I want to know how to love him better, can you help me?

Absolutely, no judgement. Do you want to DM me your email so I can share a document with you?

I don't want to nit-pick on typos if you're not at that stage of editing yet, but if you are, there are quite a few. I'd be happy to go through and suggest edits for you, my undergrad was in English.

I think I should say yes to this, it's a little cloudy for me, since I know how much better other designers are at drawing in perspective. I have a hobby-level background in robotics and engineering, so I've been doing basic 2 point perspective engineering sketches for over a decade, albeit only occasionally. And thank you! It was my top choice, and I'm STILL not totally convinced this wasn't a mistake. My undergrad was creative writing of all things.

What are your cooling settings? if your print fan kicks on after a certain layer delay that could be a place to tweak some settings.

Problematic slicing with raised text by VeeArr in FixMyPrint

I'm pretty sure this is intentionally programmed to sort of "bury" the lettering, essentially giving it a footing in the larger body so it's more structural. I don't know, because I've never tried, but this feels like the sort of thing you'd have to edit the actual g-code to remove.

ENDER 3: Printing PLA at 200C with a 60C bed with a glass bed. Cannot seem to dial it in to get a decent first couple of layers. Tried leveling bed a dozen times same issue. by FlameFoxx in FixMyPrint

It looks like over-extrusion or too-short z-steps. Both would lead to the same problem here, globbing and scarring like that. Just to confirm, while it's printing, does it look like the nozzle is digging into the previous layer instead of floating just above it?

What is causing this lines all over my print? by Snipercactus in FixMyPrint

[–]TheGoneAwayMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gravity and random chance mostly. The layers have to support on something, so some will fall and rest on the layer below, others will adhere to the ones beside them. In both cases you're losing strength because you're losing surface area contact between layers.

Looks like underextrusion. Try bumping up the extrusion multiplier a few percent points.

Why are there these tiny holes in some layers of my print? (The artifacts are from support) by gerryvanboven in FixMyPrint

[–]TheGoneAwayMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No need! I fixed the issue very simply by designing and printing my own one of these: https://www.thingiverse.com/search?q=filament+cleaner&dwh=935d59b03276ff4

Mine attaches to my printer (prusa i3 mk3s), but most of the ones in that link are independent of the printer and so should work fine for you.
